      His Speech Was Buggered in 1980 and before. I Love Ozzy and his contribution and the Firing was Bullshit BC the rest of Sabbath were drug and Boozing..My Question is...WHERE DOES IT END?? He Was Barely Understandable here.. I could go on a Raw Food Diet Rant But I Won't. That Is the Key To Illumination...Raw Foods...Pure Juicing..Total Cellular Regeneration and Finding True Inner Peace and Happiness...Leaving The Who YOU Are Now and Letting Go Of all attachments..Never Mind...Most Won't Get This..

    What a beautiful human being. Speaks like a regular guy that you bump into in the street. After all the chaos and insanity of the Black Sabbath journey, he sits here as a humble, modest, kind, thoughtful and sensitive human being. The fame and the reckless lifestyle of drugs and booze have not hindered his mind whatsoever. I'm so happy Ozzy has achieved everything that he has been able to do - truly a role model for those stuck in the dead end job who want to escape it through creativity. Beautiful.

    I'm always struck by the British stars who are always modest and humble despite their massive achievements.

    • @goose300183
      @goose300183 4 роки тому +10

      Being British myself, I can maybe lay out some general traits. The following does not of course apply to ALL British people (no statement does), but most people here are like this:
      We don't like prima donnas, we want to stay true to our roots of being humble, respectful and pleasant. We generally don't like the idea of having a group of yesmen follow us around and tell us how great we are. It makes us uncomfortable. We always want to remain approachable, and don't really wish to instill awe to the point where people treat us differently. We just are who we are, we keep it straight and don't pretend to be something we are not.
      There will be exceptions of course, I am making sweeping, generalised statements. My experience of the vast majority of my countrymen fit this description though, including Ozzy.

    I loved Ozzy and Sabbath since i was about 9, and my Dad loved them since he was a teenager, he was growing up in a soviet union, where the records where illegal, and could have gotten him in jail, he still found ways to get them, and listen in secret... never expected to ever see them live. And then his kid (me) falls in love with the same band, and we listen to it together, and gift each other records, until we have a full vinyl collection at home, etc. and then one day, we finally get to see them. It was incredible moment to See Sabbath Live Together with my father... I remember thinking how surreal it was for me, the band has been split up when i started listening to them, and i never in my wildest dreams expected to see them in concert. But i can only imagine how much more surreal it was for my Dad, how much the world changed, from 16 year old, and locked in a room, listening to a bootleg copy of a record, that could get you arrested, to a 50 year old rocking his heart out with his daughter at a Front rows of the same band he grew up with..

    • @Penddraig7
      @Penddraig7 5 років тому +1

      Music is a very powerful thing and your story shows that! Black Sabbath spoke to a lot of people, their music resonates and spans time and cultures, people from any background can feel the music in their hearts and souls, your dad was willing to go to a soviet prison just to here this music!! I have heard stories about what soviet prisons were like back then and the stories themselves were terrifying and there was no chance of me going into one so to have the genuine threat of that and risk that so he could listen to Black Sabbath is very powerful, your dad is an amazing man, I have a lot of respect for him, then for his daughter to also fall in love with them and for it to become something that bonded you together and something you could do together is amazing but for your dad I bet he never even dreamt at that young age when he was secretly playing the music that one day he would be in a packed arena with his daughter watching them live and with no threat of jail, that must have blown his mind and been very emotional for him and it sums up exactly what music is all about, especially good music, music that bands like Black Sabbath created it unites the world, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from or even where you have been, music does not discriminate, it just brings joy and hope and freedom and love to us all, for me music is my religion, I don’t belong to any ideology or church, as long as I have my music, I don’t need anything else, music makes me happy, music makes me feel free, I am autistic and I have had me difficulties, like most people have in their lives one way or another. I struggle to concentrate, my mind never stops, school was a nightmare for me, learning was a nightmare, not being able to concentrate held me back in so many ways, it frustrated me, I felt trapped and like a prisoner in my own head, it was tiring having my mind work all the time and it constantly flitting from one thought to another thought before I had time to even process the thought I was having, it was like my mind was having it’s own battle, it was like a battle scene from lord of the rings. But as soon as I listened to music, it went all calm, my mind was quiet, I felt free, I could concentrate, for me it was too late when I discovered this, sure I had listened to music before but only if it was on tv or if I found one of my parents tapes, we didn’t have money and I grew up with not very much, birthday and Christmas presents were only time I got anything and music was never anything I got, it wasn’t a part of my life growing up it was only when I got older and was able to be more self sufficient and free to do my own thing and explore my own interests that I truly discovered music, could explore it, but like I said in terms of my education, it was too late at that point. If anybody knows or has children with autism or ADHD or anything like that, I strongly recommend using music to help them, it will change their lives for the better, it will free them. I know in this day and age music is a lot more accessible than in my day thanks to the likes of Apple and iTunes and the range of hardware available to access music than in my day, it’s a lot more affordable. If they haven’t got access to an iPod or an equivalent music player, get them one and allow them to discover music and a genre of music that speaks to them, even if it’s music you hate yourself, don’t restrict it either, allow them to listen to it when they are doing homework for example, it will change their life and you will see a positive change in their behaviour and how well they do at school and how much more relaxed they become, I just wish I had it available to me growing up.
      Music = Freedom!!

    you can see a 110% difference from the way he spoke on the reality tv show to now, I read his book and it was phenomenal, he says in it during the osbournes show days, he was on the completely wrong medication and that it fucked him up mentally really badly to the point where he looked and sounded like he had parkinsons or something related to that, here he sounds great, sure he stammers here and there, but i mean wouldn't you after doing literally decades of rockstar style coke and acid and drinking lol.

      he does have a condition which shows similar conditions to parkinsons,its amazing to see him speaking clearly here.

    The Ozzman helped create one of the largest and most diverse genres yet and was the singer of 2 of the biggest metal bands ever. and he hasn't let it get to his head (maybe the drugs beat that to it XD) he seems like a great man. he seems funny too.

    Really is such a sweet and funny guy. I love him a lot. The Osbournes is probably the only Reality TV show that I find watchable because I know that Ozzy didn’t come from a very wealthy background, and yet he keeps his humbleness and morals. God bless you Ozzy Osbourne

      My thoughts exactly. He is a very talented singer but he is great as a person too, sweet and funny as you said. That's the biggest reason why people love him, apart from the talent, that's how I see it. Plus his passion for music is so great that make almost everyone love him, even non rock and metal fans.

    Witnessing him on stage in 1981 - 20 ft away. His frequency was so positive and electrifying. Not to mention he had the best rock rhythm section of the 80s burning hot behind him, Randy Rhoads shining...

    Ozzy has appreciation for the success he had. What he had going for him was the ability to come up melodic and cool vocal melodies and the looks to go along with it, and a social personality. And good heath. All these things have to line up for a life like that.
