    ►►►►►►LIST OF OUR CAMPERS (PRESENT AND PAST)◄◄◄◄◄◄
    ►2020 Bigfoot 10.4 Truck Camper - We got our 2020 Bigfoot 10.4 Truck Camper in October 2021. We were contacted by a couple of subscribers (now good friends) who had theirs up for sale in Upstate New York so we headed out on an adventure. We sold our 2014 Bigfoot 10.4 within one day of listing it online.
    ►2014 Bigfoot 10.4 Truck Camper - We got our 2014 Bigfoot 10.4 in August 2021 from RVOne near Charlotte, NC. Todd was headed to buy a brand new Bigfoot 10.4 just before we got the Lance 975 but when he got to Southland RV, it was sold. That's when we decided to go to the Lance 975. We knew at some point in the future we'd have a Bigfoot again and here it is.
    ►2021 Lance 975 - We got our new 2021 Lance 975 from Chattanooga Fish n Fun in Hixson, TN in August 2020. After looking at several models, we decided on the Lance 975 (Check out Brad's channel from Chattanooga Fish n Fun, he gives great, thorough overviews of some really nice boats and campers.) We sold the Lance 975 in August 2021.
    ►2019 Northern Lite 10-2 Truck Camper - Bought and delivered from Mountain Motors in Troy, MO on 12/2019 and sold it in 01/2020.
    ►2005 Northern Lite 10-2 Truck Camper - Picked up on 8/10/2019 we did major repairs, maintenance and renovations to this one and sold it in 12/2019.
    2008 Bigfoot 21RB - Sold 12/2019, we went across country to purchase from a dealer in Pueblo Colorado.
    ►2006 Casita Spirit Deluxe - Sold 07/2018 when we bought our Bigfoot.
    ►2002 A-liner - Sold 05/2017 when bought our 2006 Casita Spirit Deluxe.

    We just sold our Host 10’6”. Loved it. Now we want something else. Big Foot, no slide outs? Host had two slide outs.

  • @bob_frazier

    So compared with the 10.6, the 10.4 moves the bathroom forward and the booth back, that makes total sense layout wise and reduces the bottle neck at the back door. And it adds the drivers side rear window. I own a 10.6, but I'd trade ya!

    This is out of order but I just saw your new F 450, nice, but I didn't see the Lance. Y'all sell it already? Don't blame you if you did, I would have kept the Bigfoot. From all the owners videos I have seen , molded fiberglass is the way to go. I really like the 25' trailer as well and the Oliver legacy Ii.

    Just don’t ever forget to open valve on blank take or you will blow that baby up and it makes a ungodly mess. A guy and his with got in a pretty good fight mouth fight no hitting and he forgot to open valve black tank flush and that baby blew up and there was everything inside camper and basement and this was first or second time out , what a mess and was not covered under warranty!

    Not sure about a cooler full of salmon. Though fairly large I think 2 or 3 is the daily limit. Get your smoker ready though. Nothing like cold smoked salmon ( under 90 deg). Tip: Big Lots has Smoked Salmon for $10 a pack (about 14 oz.). It is delicious with some capers and lemon on a nice bakery loaf slice of bread. I buy many packs and refrigerate. It is good as is for 4 yrs usually. So I have plenty overlapping.

    lots of great info in your videos (very helpful )I have never had a lance (do not see many in Canada )
    have owned Bigfoot, Arctic Fox and Northern lite I find the Bigfoot to be the best built overall the side was nice in the Arctic fox more room when there are 3 of us all good but hard to not like the bigfoot and northern lte for the limited seams (fiberglass shell) but you give up the room off the side

    Nice review. That didn’t take long from when you got the 2014 Big Foot. Tough to keep up with your campers. Are you back to banging your head on a shorter rear door opening? What made you decide to go back to hard side from the slide-out? I myself really like the fiberglass design concept. Been reviewing Northerns and will now have to include Big Foot. Thanks for the vid.

    You had a beautiful Lance. I am curious why you prefer the Bigfoot so much. Are we talking better quality? Do you miss the slide? Are the Bigfoots a more solid unit? We are considering downsizing. It will enable us to camp in places we can’t now.

    • @RunawayRoses
      @RunawayRoses  2 роки тому

      Hi Marc Nickleson, We did like our Lance camper however we prefer molded fiberglass campers. In our opinion we feel like the Bigfoot is better quality. No we don't miss the slide although it does make for more room. I like not having to put a slide in and out just to get in the camper. You asked a pretty loaded question. I may make a video on the differences between the campers one day. Thanks for watching! ~ Todd

      Sorry… Not trying to corner you. We are Ga. folks as well and we are looking at downsizing. We also like off roaring and we want to take our rig to places we can’t go now. Maybe some off grid camping as well. I also like the idea of having the use of the pickup. We are thinking of flatbed though. In your experience, any known issues?

    What axle ratio do you have? I had a 1996 dodge ram dually diesel class c....setro scotty 25 foot motorhome. We loved ut! Had 3.43 gears and way back then lots less hp. However that rig was a phenomenal pulling machine. Despite a 12500 wet weight and all that frontal area we got 12 ti 15 mpg with the ny emissions whuxj meant less fuel injection. Loved the piwer under load. Hope you enjoy yours. I am thinking of another class c on a pickup chassis

      @RunawayRoses  2 роки тому

      Hi Mike Billing, I was concerned about that as well but it really hasn't been a big issue for me. I am six foot but I would think anybody much over that may find it not as desirable. If you're under six foot you probably wouldn't notice it being a big deal. I would prefer an 80" bed but I love the rest of the camper enough that it isn't a big deal for me. Hope that helps. How do you like having the fan above the bed VS the skylight hatch you had in previous campers? Sometimes I think I would prefer the sky light, but then I wonder if I would really even use it all that much and I really like to have my ceiling fan going when I sleep. There's a 2008 bigfoot 10.6 for sale with the truck near me that I really wish I could get. I don't have a truck so that would be perfect. Hopefully, once I'm actually ready to take the plunge I'll be able to find another. If y'all don't keep buying them all up. 😉😂

    • @RunawayRoses
      @RunawayRoses  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Diver Girl82, We have found that we prefer having a fan over the bed vs a skylight. We have had Heki skylights in two of our campers and never really used them. They are neat that you can open them and stand up through them but I never really did that. It does let a lot of light in but I don't really like having that much light come in directly over the bed. I think it is far more useful to have a fan than just a skylight over the bed. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching! ~ Todd
