it's funny how the tower 28 spray is so expensive when its only ingredient is hypochlorous acid, that you can look up on its own and get for really cheap. and yes, those are safe enough for the face. corporations just love screaming that they found a new miracle ingredient, make it look pretty and then bump up the price at an ungodly rate.
I buy a 2 litre Hypochlorous Acid container for less than £15 in a strength that can be used as a general disinfectant around the home as well as skin safe. I decant it into a large spray bottle to use around the house and a smaller bottle to keep with my skincare.
Just a note that Hypochlorous Acid can cancel out other skincare active ingredients so apply it, let it dry and maybe wait a minimum 20 minutes before applying anything else.

What is your opinion on the Olay Super Serum. It seems like it has done everything possible for my skin, but that could also be my getting into a small routine.

Totally agree it doesn’t stay on longer than an hour BUT I do find my lips are healed overnight (and I live in Canada) Plus when I remember to use it during the day the shine is *chef’s kiss*
imo, the blistex lip medex balm does the same thing for me, except better than laneige! im also from canada and this works better for me overnight and during the day!
I LOVE the laniege. I've bought the other recommendations and really don't like them and wake up dry.

@Hyram I actually was sent it before they launched and I do like it, but I felt like the spray lasted longer. To me the serum was thicker and not as easy to spread as the spray feels. I do like it though! Just not how I love the spray. I would use the spray multiple times a day when my acne was painful, so my love for that stuff is serious to me😂

I’m sorry but on the Laneige and Dior lip balms, they legit the only things that work on my dry lips
I used to use Laneige. I liked it. But I also bought the ginger super lip balm as you recommended. That was too sticky for me. Now, my new favorite is CeraVe's healing ointment. That's the best overnight lip mask for me. The Dior Lip Glow I use it as a men's lipstick. It gives you some hydration with a touch of tinted color. It's pricy but I couldn't find another natural-looking lipstick for men. Thank you Hyram. I always enjoy watching your videos.

I have been using Laneige lip masks and it works so well for me. I have an oily skin but my lips do get dry. I think these skin care products work well for some and doesn’t work for others. Anyway love your videos Hyram ❤

This is my first time weighing in on a dislike you've mentioned, I started using the Lineage Lip Mask pre-tiktok fame and its always been a holy grail product for me!! It may not be for everyone, but for me, I apply it once a day and it keeps my lips smooth and moist. Ive never found something that works as well.
I'm still excited to try your alternative product, maybe its even better! But I did want to chime in with my experience. Thank you for all your education and help!!!

For spray products, I've been spraying it into my hand and patting it into my skin like a toner, just in general. The only one I've used of the list is the laneige only bc it was one of the birthday gifts they had or something. And yeah, I agree that it's not that great of a lip mask, especially overnight.

I've used the laneige lip sleeping mask for a loooong time, and I use it exactly for that, overnight hydration, before i used it my lips would wake up dryer thanmy ex's messages, and it has helped me a lot, i put a generous amount (more than i would use if I was using it as lip balm) and sometimes I wake up with a little residue left. I pledge my allegiance to the lip mask!

I got the laneige lip sleep mask in a beauty box, and i can say that it works overnight for me. I was even thinking about using it just casually during the day! There are definitely better options out there.

I totally agree with the laneige lip mask. My friend got it for me and I just use it because I don’t want to waste it but my lips are dry after like 30 mins. My favorite lip product is the Jack black lip balm. It’s the only one that keeps my lips moisturized for long periods of time.

I'm not on tiktok but i bought the laneige lip berry SLEEPING MASK. I bought it in may 2023 and im only half trough. I use it every night and when i wake up its still on my lips. I love it! Its an overnight product, so i don't understand the reapplying part. I use it and go to sleep. However i bought the regular lip balm in the squeeze tube and with this one I'm on board with the reapplying. Doesn't do much. I've also heard that the different flavors of the night mask work different.

I loooove the laneige mask! It’s a sleeping mask so I recommend putting it on right before bed and you won’t need to reapply it 100x. It helped me get over my chapstick addiction!

I have to agree with the laneige one, only made my lips worse. The only lip balm that I have used that consistently work, is the jack black lip balm. It’s SO GOOD. I’ve repurchased the she’s butter on 4 times. I love it so much
the laneige sleep mask went bad after a couple months. smelled like mildew

i have chronically dry lips and the only lip mask that has healed my lips have been laneige. i’ve used countless of other ones but i always seem to return to the laneige one. it’s interesting because for me it’s always still on my lips after i put it on before bed and wake up in the morning.
The PTR eye treatment was so expensive & did exactly what you described except it didn’t even take mine that long, it was flaking off my skin after like 10-30 minutes! Absolutely infuriating after you’ve just put on fresh makeup!

For the lip masks, I’ve always wanted to try Laneige’s. But, as a dupe- I’ve been using this W7 Makeup Strawberry flavour lip mask. I tend to get dry lips a lot as well, it’s a overnight mask etc I’ve been using it for ages & it has been helping ma lips feel more soft :) I’ve got Eczema, so am always trying to find skincare products that actually help to maintain it :(
Review PCA skin lip balm. It’s insanely expensive but they’ve applied it to my at a med spa. I haven’t bought it cause of price but it felt amazing

With the Tower 28 SOS products, can you/ should you reapply the serum later in the day if you already have your moisturizer on? Or is that a benefit to the spray?
The lineage lip mask always confused me too but after looking into the product more I learned it’s supposed to be an exfoliating formula. I’ve found when I have flaked cracked dry lips this product helps to get rid of the dead skin and then in with good old aquaphor and my lips are baby smooth.
i wondering if could do a review on the differin skin gel and cleanser i want to know if it is good for oily skin and controlling breakouts.
I do think the la neige lip balm works for me. I have had it for over a year and there is barely a dent. For the glossier lip balm, I was out in a couple months. However I find that they both did a good well at hydrating my lips.
I havn’t used in so long, dunno is they hav it still, but sudden change eye serum that had similar to that one u mentioned.

I’m def gonna try the Tower 28 serum. But I disagree on the lip balm, I didn’t really like the glossier one, I found it more greasy, I’ve tried the summer Fridays one and it’s good and I’ve tried a lot of others but I always go back to the laneige one. I think it feels so good and luxurious on the lips specifically love the purple gummy bear one the best and it smells so amazing. But I also will wear it on top of my lip liner with my makeup too. You should do a comparison lip balm video, there’s soooo many on the market right now from tower 28, naturium, saltair, glossier, summer Fridays, elf, plus lip oils from Dior, elf, innbeauty, etc. love your channel ❤
For those looking for a butt firming cream that is much cheaper than the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream or any of the Truly Beauty ones, I’ve used the Frank Body Perky Sculpting Body Hydrator for a while, and it seems to work for me in terms of making my butt perkier. Now, I won’t say it will turn you from having a flat butt into Megan Thee Stallion, but it does do a little firming/tightening for the 24 hours following application. It also smells pretty good if you like the scent of coffee/cocoa.
I appreciate this rec! I've never heard of this one before; while I feel like my expectations are measured, I am forever on the lookout for something that will just give me a little smoothing and firming for thighs and booty and have tried SO many things including Truly (have not tried the Bum Bum cream, but I wanted to until now!)

I love love love the rhode peptide lip treatment. I'm also someone who has picky lips, I can't stand most lip oils, chapsticks, lip glosses available. All of them made my lips either dry, itchy, or sticky. Just as I was going to give up on my search for a decent lip product, I bit the bullet and ordered rhode and haven't looked back since lol. And thank god she kept it at an affordable price, Dior is outta their minds on that one for sure

Honestly, the lip mask worked for me because when I had vehicle cost lips from being sick, I actually put it on and it worked and I was quite shocked about that to be honest
