I love this too!! Grew up on these kinds of songs! Both of them I love and they are so sweet together!! Love all of Jack's singing through the years!! 💋❤🎼🎶🎵👍
Great arrangement of a song I love very much. If you look and listen closely, one may notice how Joanie resembles singer Eydie Gorme in her face along with the tonal quality and sound of her voice which is quite similar to Gorme's as well. At least to me she does! Jack Jones is retired and living in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area of Southern California. Joanie is still with us, too. Bless'em both!
@@Johnnycdrums not sure.. At the age of 18, Sommers was put under contract by Warner Bros. records, singing with Edd Byrnes (replacing Connie Stevens) of the TV series "77 Sunset Strip", guest-starring on the show. Critics embraced the jazz-influenced album and she was dubbed "the greatest singing discovery of the last 15 years"

RIP Jack. The best.
Yes he was. Rock and Rock didn't allow him to flourish. RIP Jack.
Joanie's voice is so unique! 🙂🙂🙂
Great song..sung perfectly!🥰
We haven’t had TV entertainment such as the Hollywood Palace for decades since the 1960s.

Jack cut an album when he was 83, every other day I have the blues!!! Last I heard he was still doing doing gigs in Palm Springs!!!
And if you look closely..Jack Jones seem to have an uncanny resemblance to Elvis Presley...
Joan, Joannie and Jack -- Just GREAT!
Not many us around to remember and appreciate talent like them. RIP Jack
Wow….still love you Joanie.
Godddamn.....give me the early '60's any day.
Two perfectly beautiful voices!!!! Always loved them!!! What a treat!!! Thank you so much!! Those times will never come back. Thanx for the memories!
Joan, Jack and Joanie, all great stars, what a treat. great number by Jack and Joanie.. Joanie's voice control is amazing
YES her control is tops. She reminds me of that other great Joannie (James).
Purely timeless classic, nothing comes close today!
Great duet with two great vocalists.....Nice looking couple from the sixties. Thanks for such a memorable song.
That is a beautiful song and always loved it!
Joanie so sweet unique special. Impossible to not fall in love with.
Just saw Joanie on 77 Sunset Strip.. Love her jazzy singing style
when class and talent ruled...
Love them both!! GBY Jack and Joanie!! Jim
I loved the British Invasion and 60's rock but it's sad this kind of music was the sacrifice. Thanks for posting.
It could be said this song was part of the "British Invasion". It was written by the very British Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent!
@@kelvinheron3425that’s a stretch lol
And made a hit by British songbird, Petula Clarke
Great duet!
Two of the very best!!
Com certeza o melhor dueto que já vi
Musca extraordinária. Interpretações magníficas. Jack an Joanie demais!
Jack Jones é um dos maiores do Jazz até hoje
I was a kid when i 1st this, thanks for the wonderful memories, and god bless you...
Love hearing my cousin, Joanie. Thanks for posting.
Joanie is so pretty!
What ever happened to 'class'? Great song, great lyrics, great vocals, great arrangement, great look!
Class became Britney Spears and Lizzo
Those overhead mics must have been the absolute best.
The best of times when singers actually knew how to sing. Great duet
Two of my faves!
I would love to have just talked very candidly with Joan Crawford about her life. It was very hard at the beginning.
Love Joan!
Joan was a real professional too, but I like Joanie better.
Me too.
What the hell was Crawford doing on the Hollywood Palace?!!
My oh my....what a sweetheart she is XO
Man, I gotta stop listening to classic rock. Seriously. I dig this.
Too freakin sweet!
True entertainment.
Please take me back to this time . I will behave , I promise....
"Okay, i'll tell her when she comes in." 😆😄
♥️♥️♥️♥️🦋
Always wondered what happened to her? She kind of disappeared, Anyone know! Loved her,
She's had health problems.
I always liked her very tight vibrato.

What the hell is Mommie Dearest doing there with Jack Jones and Jonnie Sommers?!!!
How he was looking at her
You mean someone sang this before Billy Crystal in "When Harry Met Sally"?
Despite singing with Dean Martin for so long, who was Jerry Lewis's favorite vocalist?
Ahh, Joanie killin' it, Jack Jones is weaker, that's allbaby.
☕🚬😍
Imagine if Jack turned her down?
Even jokingly.
After this, Joan rushed home to scold her adopted kids with a coat hanger.
What ever happened Joanie Sommers?
🚬☕
Just saw Joanie on 77 Sunset Strip.. Love her jazzy singing style
Which episode?
Please!
Tell me, please, which episode.
