Dean Martin, unknown in 1967? The Dean Martin Show, not to be confused with the Dean Martin Variety Show (1959-1960), is a TV variety-comedy series that ran from 1965 to 1974 for 264 episodes. It was broadcast by NBC and hosted by Dean Martin. The theme song to the series was his 1964 hit "Everybody Loves Somebody." Dino was not an unknown.

It said they were big stars when he was unknown.
Dean got big when Jerry and he started out in 1945.
Andrew sisters got famous in the late ‘30s.
They were close to the same age.

No cuts, no edits - one camera shot - Notice that? These days we're lucky if they hold a shot more than one second - seriously. Count it out as you're watching!

ANDREW SISTERS. EINFACH TOLL , UNSCHLAGBAR.

I Declare-----The background Andrew sisters voices are one hundred times better than the original hum drum fare recorded on Dean-o s album ...!

The era of this kind of variety show is NOT coming back, pretty much dying with the advent of MTV.
