Hello Harley, love that you are doing your own work! really good of you at a young age! some tips from someone who was once in your shoes, for spraying metal, cheapest thing is to save up for an angle grinder and a wire wheel that goes on the angle grinder and some safety glasses ( roughty £25-35 for all which will work fine for the odd job! ) wire wheel the metal back to bare metal, for painting, you usually want to use primer paint ( grey is the best all round colour ) you spray across almost like a flick motion, ( look on youtube for visual instructions ) you dont need to constantly spray as this will make the paint run like it looks on your wheels. then apply paint using the flick motion. honestly tho, really well done on taking it into your own!
