Andris, not sure how many years I have been watching. But, always hoping for gravel roads. 100,00 subs and kick in 5000 likes and 150 comments to boot. As they say inch by inch it's a cinch, yard by yard it's hard. Kudos to you. I turned 65 last week, and lost my job, at the same time. Not the least bit worried. Thank you for sharing so much and putting all this hard work and excellent filming and editing. #1 after super mom.
The result looks great, no more mud! A friendly suggestion, consider a flame torch for easier use in tight driveways. It's very handy! Have a nice weekend and a great start to the next week!
Andris, I really enjoyed this video. Actually I enjoy all the videos. All the time and energy that you have put in to your equipment has really paid off. Keep on keeping on.😀
Excellent job, looks great. My friend did a similar thing on his road, and after rolling it, he put diesel oil in a garden sprayer on a hot sunny day and it locked the whole road together. You just have to deal with the smell for a while.
@@Ants_Pants Maybe you have to raise the road still a bit? The road should be higher than the suroundings, so that the water can drain to all sides (if possible). Maybe you also need some small ditches on the side of the road to help the water evacuate... you have all the tools, now it´s a bit about trying out and help the water to pi.. off I guess 😁 ;-)
YESS!! Me & My 6 year Son who absolutely loves your channel, Have just got the popcorn out!!2 & 1/2 hours of Ants Pants.. Thanks for the extra long vid today Great job!!
Fair dinkum Andris, that was a real saga mate, I’ve built a few roads on my farm but that was a bloody awesome effort mate and what a difference visually and practically it will make, no more muddy feet for your family. Your work ethic my friend is beyond magnificent, you work like a man possessed. I think you will have to go underground with that drain off the corner of the shed or it may make the area soggy, see how it goes. Mate out of 10, I will give you a twelve. Keep safe Andris until your next epic, love the longer videos, awesomeness at its best
1:59:03 the new goose neck and the reposition of the drive axle to the midle of the trailor is something that i was waiting since i saw the video with the breaking of the goose neck!...great video Andris!!!
Good movie on soil types, aggregation types, elevations, drainage, and general distribution of material. Thanks. That last load was pretty interesting.
Bro! That's looks awesome!!! Totally worth all the hard work. I get doing new asphalt would be so expensive, so this is the perfect solution. And I think you should buy a compactor because you can use if for more than just the driveway. Glad to see Super Mom and the munchkins. Until next week take care! Bill
Great job! We used the same stuff at work and it really lasts, even at a busy heavy equipment shop. We used a small vibrating roller to compact it, mainly to get really settled and packed before winter so as not to tear it up
Another brilliant idea and a lot of work. Very good job AntsPants... we love you man. Please don't change... however what you said about the heat and the roller is very important. Don't wait too long brother...😏
You are so awesome at your projects!! I love ‘Aye dios mio’ Muy bueno Andris!!! I bet a steamroller would pack in that gravel really well and your driveway would be so awesome-ness!!! Keep on doing what you do best👍 Blessings to you and family
Hey Dude! Thanks for another great video! I look forward to them each week. It'll be interesting to see how that driveway turns out. I've not seen that done before. Also nice to see the hood up on the Kirovets.😉 Cheers from Eastern Canada!!! 🇨🇦

It’s said the mark of a good man is what he leaves behind when he’s gone… I disagree. I believe that mark is left for what he’s done for others. You’re a good man Andris, nice work once again! Super Mom &Sis should be happy now with the added space and safety of a more solid foundation under their wheels, especially this upcoming winter. Thanks for taking us along brother, was a good watch. So now I’m wondering if you’re scoping out the ads for a huge old drum or barrel you can fill with concrete to make your own roller. Sure having it vibrate would be best but just rolling it on a scorching hot few days WILL compact down and harden nicely. Stay safe and healthy😉✌🏼
Finally after couple videos good old Antspants. ❤ I am currently solving some staff in garden and I do not understand how you can do all of that by yourselfe. I hate working just by myselfe. You're such a good guy..

great job, looks amazing. Will definitely reduce the amount of mud on sister's bat mobile .... I don't know where you get the energy. :) Thx for the video!

Very good job, we did our farm track the same way. Only difference we put the large bits at the base and made crazy paving, holds up better than the sections with just gravel.

What a great way to recycle tarmac! And you end up with a nice driveway. As an agricultural engineer/mechanic I can tell you that almost all tractors have those "reducer gearboxes" at the wheels. They are called final drives and are there to massively reduce the strain on the driveshafts linking it all up. Without them the driveshafts would need to have a huge diameter to withstand the torque. You are right, they rarly leak, BUT if they do they are out of oil very quickly since there is barely any in there. You are also meant to change that oil every now and then...
