ONE of his best performance, more then 50 years ago! Thank you for sharing! Love it! He always had black singers, Whitney Houstan's mother Sissy was one of them! (the one he shocked) 👏👏 🇳🇱
Imagine being at that performance! You never want him to stop. I saw him in 1974. It was so sad when he left the stage, and they said, “Elvis has left the building!”.
Those low stances you liked were from his Martial Arts/Karate training. Elvis was a legit Black Belt, the high ranking degrees were honorary but he loved Martial Arts and trained a lot with several different instructors over the years.
Thanks for your great reaction, he was a beautiful man I saw twice in concert, he had fun with his fans. He loved his fans. I grew up with him. I am almost 80 and will never get over him. Watch his fabulous tribute to Civil Rights icon, Martin Luther King. It is called "If I Can Dream" from his 68 special. Also from that same special watch, "Trying to Get to You". Be Blessed.
Yes more Elvis please I just subscribed he grew up dirt poor in Tupelo Mississippi with no professional voice training just all God given talent sang all genre of music is in all 5 Music Hall of Fames! More songs Live Las Vegas Bridge over Troubled Waters, Polk Salad Annie, Just Pretend are a few also check out his 68 Comeback Special & his 1973 Aloha Hawaii Satellite Special first satellite show ever & was watched by over 1.5 billion people around the world! Sold most records ever so humble & generous he was & still is the GOAT!!
Elvis Presley BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER 1970 LIVE Las Vegas ( NEW Mix, Great Sound ) Best Version Elvis Presley IF I CAN DREAM 68 Comeback Special ( WHITE SUIT ) This was Elvis's Powerful, Heartfelt Tribute to Dr Martin Luther King Jr after his Assasination in Memphis Tennessee where Elvis Lived. It was Based on The Message of MLK's "I Have A Dream" Speech.
6:30 LOL lol lol. I loved that moment as well and you have to understand there is a context there, everybody in that band and also the people that surrounded them would prank each other all the time. They would throw water at each other they would just have fun you know what I mean? But that particular woman Sylvia Shemwell I believe her name is. They had a particular thing together where they would try to startle each other and so he got back at her on that performance because she had startled him earlier in the evening and it's just absolutely hilarious. You can see her laughing her ass off and then he can't hardly stop from laughing right after he does it. That is just how he was and how that band was. How fantastic is that.
What a wonderful reaction, in so many ways. Oh my God, I can tell how much you would like to this in there is so much more. He has got the serious side on a lot of songs but also you have to understand man he became a celebrity at age 20 in the mid-1950s in this is 1970 so just think about that time difference alone. It's astonishing. And yeah he died way too early, about seven years after this performance, and there are so many audio Cuts just to check out that were hits on the radio in their fantastic but nowadays on UA-cam there is footage from him in his earliest days all the way through to 8 weeks before he died.
New subscriber. Thank you for this. Would like you to know that Elvis had the genetic condition A-1 antitrypsin which causes COPD/emphysema & needed an inhaler to help him breath. It began many yrs. earlier, but he managed to sound powerful & amazing until he passed away. This song was written by Mark James. James said that he was fooling around on his guitar & thought he had a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James's wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of." Thank you.
Thanks for a very nice reaction to Elvis performing one of his last hits. But since I'm also a huge Angelina Jordan fan, I highly recommend Angelina's incredible reinterpretation & cover of this song in her tribute to Elvis.Thank you.

2 things: never take your eyes off him, and when you start after stopping, roll it back a bit, you missed several things.
Well noted 😅🥰😍
You should react to Angelina Jordan's cover of this song. It's soooooo good. If you haven't seen her it's time. She's soooooooooo good.
Thank you! i am practically imagining how it will be like
