Yeah, this is how morality works. It has nothing to do with religion. It's a relative concept. The Nazis are an extreme example, but we have ongoing genocides today that many people have no moral objections to. The marriage of adults to children is deemed morally and legally acceptable in many parts of the world, and has been so for the vast majority of human history. Modern moral values, like equal rights for women and dictators being perceived as bad, are fairly recent in the grand scheme of things. It ebbs and flows. Homosexuality has repeatedly gone back and forth in acceptability based on culture and era. So has virtually everything, from theft to murder to rape. It used to be unacceptable to do things that are totally normal now, and vice versa. We have our own western set of moral values, but fundamentally, yes, morality is a subjective concept, and a failure to understand that subjectivity is exactly the sort of ignorance that allows groups like the Nazis to climb to power. To the Nazis, their genocide was morally correct. To a catholic priest, the sexual abuse of children is morally correct. To most of western society up until about 200-500 years ago, slavery was totally fine. It's because of moral subjectivity that we can grow and evolve our own philosophies and overcome old ways of thinking.

Okay, you can be an atheist and still have morals. You don’t have to let a fucking book determine your values you get the freedom to make your own morals and values based on your own life. I agree sometimes morally we look at things from a different perspective than others. A German at that time felt they had little to no choice in fighting that war. Killing Jews gassing Jews. It’s unlikely but it’s on the cards to face that kind of punishment. For that reason I refused to reenlist. I also have to say that I will never fight for our federal goverment again. State goverment? Yeah sure, federal goverment? Not over my dead body. It’s too corrupt, sorry never will I ever fight for this countries government. I’ll fight for the citizens of this country, I’ll fight for my state, I’ll fight for my family my community. I will never fight for this pos corrupt political garbage government that is the United States congress. I promise you every single politician has or will be blackmailed to vote in a certain way by political agents. More than likely intelligence agencies that are within the goverment.
