Mykal isn't here, (this is J None, who I adore too!) but I would LOVE it if he come back permanently. Of course, I'd love if Anthony Gargiula, Omar Cardona, or DeeJay Young joined permanently too. And it would be so good to get J None back when he finishes his tour (unless he decides to stay on...he's singing in the Navy choir and his own small group there too.) These guys are the very best arrangers. No one does any of it better than these guys! They really are the top!
Just FYI - the second 'lead' is not Mykal. That is J None back when he was still a member of VoicePlay. Mykal was not actually ever a member of VoicePlay. He left while they were called 4:2Five, a precursor to VoicePlay. Pretty sure you have seen J already. He featured in their cover of "Thriller" over Halloween. Many people say J has a 'buttery' voice. And truthfully, he fits that romantic vibe so well, too! I'm especially impressed by the three-way run at the end between Eli, J & Earl. That has got to be tough to do! As for the gal in the song - I believe that everyone except J was married by this point and J got married in 2021. Whether he was dating his love at this time or not?
