Thanks for your reaction to this difficult song. That is James Blunt's father and James did this song as a goodbye to his father who was dying from stage 4 kidney failure at the time. Fortunately, a distant relative saw this video and stepped forward to donate a kidney that his father needed. The kidney donation was successful and James Blunt's father is still alive.
