@@atwistoflemon666 I was very ambitious. I sat for hours in my bedroom learning whiplash, the four horsemen, and seek and destroy thanks to my dad. I had them down almost note for note rhythm wise. He was also a huge guitar geek and he always kept my mind open and taught me to be a dedicated "sponge" to soak up every bit of knowledge from every walk of musical life. I started playing at 7 yrs old. Of course I also was a huge nirvana fan too. So he taught me Polly, rape me, in bloom and Breed around the same time. It took me months to learn those songs. It was no easy feat. He started me out doing 2 hours daily of guitar practice. 🎸

Covering Nirvana is interesting because its impossible to sound like Kurt but you can still (try to) emulate the philosophical approach with your own voice. Very thought provoking.
