Yeah, it is very, very sad. Frig, it has been like 19 years now. I remember where I was when I learned that he died. I was sitting in my dorm room in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, watching Music Music (the Canadian equivalent of MTV), and they broadcasted the news that he had passed. It is just as sad today as it was back then. Just think about it....if he was still alive today, he would have only just turned 69 years old in April. That is nuts. He wouldn't eve be 70 if he was still alive today. Far, far too young. Didn't even make it to 50. The only blessing that came out of him passing so early was that he didn't have to go through the torture of seeing what the music industry has become. I'm sure all of this crap rap music would have made him sick.
