Totally agree. Don't know why the interviewer kept saying they're old and legends in 87.' Its not the way they behaved, looked or sounded. The guys didn't even react to the stupid questions at all. They just laughed them off.
she meant old because the remones came out in the 1970s and by 1987 when this was filmed music styles changed alot. the ramones were always like visiting a time capsule...no matter what year it was or where you saw them they looked and sounded just the way they did when they first came out. everything else changed around them but they kept the look and sound completely uniform. it was funny and comical at the time but also extremely satisfying that you could count on them for being consistent.
"How's it being living legends?" "Better than being dead legends!" I laughed for a second before immeasurable sadness. It really sucks that cancer killed the Ramones.
Wow… I was so immersed in the interview, seeing Joey and Johnny getting along that it didn't even cross my mind. Now I'm sad... Time to enjoy some Ramones songs to cheer up again.
1:22 I like Johnny's laugh. I think it's the same laugh that drove Tommy crazy as he tried to explain he wasn't feeling well on tour. Imagine asking for help, just to here that laugh.
