Does the plus version have sense, you need to wash the mop cloth manually, why not empty the container as well and save some money, or the plus is really that better?
Many of your “benefites” of the S8 Ultra produce poorer results in other reviews. The mod cleaning are is only .5 sq inches with 2 mods and the 2 roller pickup is reviewed to be worse.
How much sq ft circumstances can it run on one charge? None of the cleaning solution is disinfectant so I’m sure it’s OK to use Pine-Sol or something similar right?
Is there a ceiling height restriction for mapping effectiveness? My goal is to use this in a small cafe dining room with 16’ high ceiling and large ceramic tile floors.
i just bought one for 694 dollars without the base. I also bought the simple emptying dock/ base independently for around 336.90 i guess with the import taxes coming soon i calculate it to be around that. so it was a total of around mabye 980 dollars. do you think it was a good price? Or you think it will go down a lot more soon?
The one with rotating mopping pads. The dual roller works better on carpets and worse on hard floor. Double vibration pads are in the end not much better than a single one (if not worse). That's based on watching actual reviews, tens of them. If you're looking for a roborock, I'd consider Q Revo (cheaper, but still very capable, with rotating pads), or s7 max ultra (not maxV if you need a built-in pad dryer though you could get it as an addon for extra). Otherwise a dreame l10s ultra is quite good, though its software is not as good as roborock's but still good overall (last one is based on personal experience as I own the thing). It has mopping pads, a very good built-in dryer, and a refillable detergent tank. Also note that any robot mopper will leave streaks/swirls on the floor depending on its method of operation. More visible on dark floors, less visible on light colored ones.
@@murkatata6640to clean your apartment/home :) not much good for anything else. Since I've bought an l10s ultra, I've noticed that first few washes produced very dirty waste water. After a couple of weeks of mopping on odd days, waste water is much cleaner. Regular mopping works great.
Sticking with the s7 MaxV ultra. The camera notifications for obstacles is one of the best showing me exactly what it is avoiding. The s8 will be running into cables and fabric getting caught up more because it can’t see and identify.
These roborock prices are getting ridiculous.
happens with all new tech
So Ridiculous indeed bro
If it had a 5 year warranty I would consider it.
@@xeon2k8 considering that its normal for robot vaccuns to perform worse after usage no matter how you maintain it, its not ”all tech”.
Try compare to the latest Dyson robot vacuum 😆
I'm old enough to remember when you could get a pretty good used car for $1,600.
Being a Millenial, I'm also not that old 🤣
this video only goes over the pro ultra
Roborock is new apple with these prices :D
Any comparison to the 7+ ? They claim 6000pa suction compared to the much less 2500pa on the 7 series. How accurate is this really?

The fast mode, ie. prioritizing the important stuff short term, is the most asked for feature of all time. Don't dis it!
They dropped the camera for privacy reasons so it's not coming back = that's a good thing.
Is it really better than the S7 or just propaganda? The S8 is just rip-off... I found S7 near my city and it was like a bargain

Great review! Thanks mate!
Roborock!! Consistency awesome
Now I’m even more confused 😅 Roborock is a little much

You'll void your warranty

Great review!!
All the versions without camera or only s8 ?
Self driving projectors! 😅
Is there a date for the S8+/ Ultra ones? I see S8 in shop already. But not the other two.
April 21st
I love the new roborock s8 ultra
How does s8 hold up against s7 maxv?
I want to know too!
Boo no more camera
Can you use this robot to do dry mop on the floor?
