My tips for those getting into law enforcement is
1.get in shape before the academy or mandate,trust me it'll make life easy
2. Learn and study the laws before hand that helps as well
3.Push yourself in training for the academy
4.When answering questions for and during the academy,be honest if you lie to them they will find out and its over.
5.After graduating the academy don't become what you arrest, tarnishing your badge gives not only you a bad name but all other cops as well,one bad apple makes them all look bad.
6.get to know your community you patrol, alot of Police work relies on the community,a good repertoire will often get the community to help in investigations it goes a long way
7. Don't be a dick when you dont need to be.

I'm currently an Army reservist and have been for about three years now and i'm thinking about what to do full time other than the odd job. I'd suggest being careful with introducing the UA-cam public to your "personal life." When you've only got so many subscribers, you're less likely to encounter the really toxic individuals who will go out of their way to make your life difficult, but you gained 25,000 subscribers in FOUR DAYS, so they'll pop up pretty quickly.

Thats good to hear you are a shy person whos not necessarily a loner but likes to do his own thing. Reminds me of myself in way. For some reason. Law enforcement instructors at my Community College try to pound in your head you have to be enthusiastic and outgoing to be a policeman or a fireman. I sure don't have a problem working with people but rather work on things by myself. Thats very interesting. You would expect many officers to have same interest in a way. ill be honest. i have had very negative expieriences with police. i dont judge the person but i do tend to judge the uniform. you really have made me feela respect for police that i never have. the world today is a scary place with police shootings and stuff when in reality thhey were threatened and felt the need to discharge their weapon for their safety and the safety of others. and for me thats a huge thing to realize. your a respectful educated officer and i thank you for the insight you have put in my life. be safe and thank you a LOT!
The reason I found your channel is because my father, uncle, grandfathers on both sides, are in Law Enforcement or have served in the Military and because of that I'm thinking about Coast Guard, Air Force, or SO (Sheriff's Office).
