I had many friends killed in action or wounded in action. I saw my Sargent shot in the face and after that I was completely fine with making this deployment alive. Six days later I was shot in the shoulder. Now when I see older people I just hope I have the privilege to get as old to be 80 or 90.

She honestly looks pretty, even without makeup or plastic surgery, which is saying a lot considering the fact that I see so many people typically use makeup or plastic surgery to enhance their looks nowadays. That isn’t to say that there’s something wrong with using makeup or doing plastic surgery (as long as the plastic surgery doesn’t poss a threat to your health in any way), but that you shouldn’t bully someone for their looks. It’s what makes them unique from others.

*Ive been in the beauty and skincare industry for over 2 decades now and...The words "standards" and "influencer" have unfortunately lost their value and true definition nowadays. Everybody in the world has their standards, but it doesn't mean that you have to follow the standards, well I should say these quote-unquote standards nowadays. They're toxic and unrealistic. And this whole not wanting to age era, it's really mentally ill. Anybody thinks like that seriously has major self-esteem issues because they want to fit in so badly. I don't understand why you would want to look like everybody else, because that is what's happening nowadays with these procedures and plastic surgeries. Everybody looks like one another. I think its great that she showed what skin looks like without filters. So many people use filters and photos just never look exactly like the person (usually). Some people may have more flawless skin but most have some flaws, we should be better about people showing their real self because it does not so great things to peoples minds when they see people who look like they look flawless all of the time.
