I just turned 60 I’ve got a 1290 Super Duke evo r in my garage. Thanks Jeremy you sold me that bike and it’s good to see you live in it and having a good time.
I watched the entire video with a big SMILE on me face. Can only speculate the smile on Jeremy McWilliams' face while riding it. The bloke even got paid to develop this beast.
What I find interesting about this video is how the brake fluid in the reservoir acts as an G-force indicator, and what sort of riding position Jeremy is using in any given corner.
Just be aware that this is the full kitted track version of the 1290 SDR, what is of specific importance are those closed cartridge fork internals and most likely paired with a competition shock on the rear. Very trick parts but very pricey!
Oh my god.. the way he takes turns nearly at 192 damn?? bike has an amazing grip, not to forget MSC.. and KTM 1290, definitely a beast.. One question though, is that speed rating in MPH or KMPH??
2015 RC8R much needed upgrades to take over the market? 1) More CC like 1290 2) ABS/Traction 3) Electronic suspension/Quickshifter 4) Single sided swingarm 5) Xenon HI/LOW headlights 6) Led & Integrated turn signal with tail lights 7) Transmission needs to work better. No false N or not finding N 8) Better heat protection on right shin 9) Bring back the 2011 White/Orange Now with all that done there would be no stopping KTM!

a couple of interesting contradictions on this video. Jeremy has said that in a track he would prefer Sport mode instead of turning off the traction control. At the same video (1290 benefits) he says that couldn't beat ABS when he switched it off. So in this video all electronics are off :P Ok traction is antiwheelie as well but what about ABS ? Also I would love to get an answer, why he choose street mode instead of sport on this video. PS: After seeing this video I feel that I have never got a sharp turn with my 1290.
+st zero I suspect he said those things for "political" reasons... with a dry track i believe a rider of the caliber of mcwilliams can brake better than any commercial abs system. For the common rider, even pretty fast ones, a good abs system is ok instead.
