She is so sweet, so kind & good natured! I wish she could find a lovely man who is sweet & kind to share her life with. So happy she finally had the gift God gave her discovered by the the World. I know it was all so huge & scarey for her & she had to take time off for a rest. So glad to see her calm & happy & always with her sense of humor. Love to you Susan!🙏🏼💕🤗

That’s because this is her childhood home refurbished. She didn’t buy a special mansion, just kept living her same humble life.

My childhood home is forever demolished and they built a park in its place simply because the building that my home was situated in was too old and the government didn't want to maintain the upkeep of it. So now I have no home to go back to even if I want to.

The blessing that is a family home is one that many people who have it don’t realize is such a deep and beautiful thing to those of us without stable housing or a place we can always return. Housing is shelter first and foremost, not just a business as its been made in modern times. I pray you get a new family home, and all do who need and want it.
@@TahtahmesDiary People just don't realize that a house is not just a shelter with bricks and walls, it's part of one's life history, especially for childhood home, unless they had a very traumatic or abusive childhood, it's the place where they spent the best and happiest time of their lives. It's where they played, where they had the best memories of their elders, all young and healthy and strong spending the best time with them cooking for them their favourite food, laughing with them watching their favourite shows...With my childhood home gone, sometimes I feel like I am just a ghost floating around without any connection to this world because the very place where I came from and where I left my marks is forever gone. This might sound to be too dramatic or exaggerating but this is how I feel. The people that still can see their childhood home standing, even if it's not occupied by them anymore, just don't realize how lucky they are.

This short vid put my mind at rest - always wondered how she was doing . She is still the humble authentic person we first met on the tv . The only thing I might wish for her would be that her kitchen had a kitchen table she could sit at while she cooked - she mentioned that she missed that . It’s nice to sit and watch the stove cook while enjoying a cuppa . Merry Christmas to all .

I have never done that. I want to try it when I cook next time. Today I baked gluten free pastry for the first time with brie cheese. Was not a great success but was a good chance for me to sit and watch ❤️

Just stumbled on this while watching her semi final performance. I'm reading her book currently so it was wonderful to see the house described in the book. Fame and fortune doesn't seem to have affected her at all. So sad that her parents, especially her mother didn't get to see her success😥

Being from the US, I judged her extremely harshly. When she sung, she blew everyone away. I was wrong and completely out of line for judging her like that. It was definitely a big lesson for me.

they were not terrible, all this was staged, her look, the bad haircut, everything was done to get this reaction ( the camera filmed the crowd reaction, so they knew...they make a montage)...the production pretty much find her, knew the narrative would be " the magic fairy tale, the bad ugly duck who is finally a swan". It works supremely. But stop to believe it was not stage...every thing is well-oiled in those multi-millions tv show, there is no reality show

I never watched any of the talent shows and I just happened to run across Susan Boyle's audition video while browsing youtube several years ago. Like most folks I wasn't expecting much from her at first, but when I saw that sweet little smile she made just an instant before beginning her song, I somehow knew she was going to be the real deal. I still watch and listen to her audition frequently, and it still brings a tear to my eye every time. I love her success story and I wish this amazing, humble woman all the best.

Very down to earth individual so different from some of the other so called celebrities! What a great person she is.
Love this house. It is just like her - authentic and warm. I love that she just renovated the house she grew up in instead of getting a new multimillion dollar mansion (not that there is anything wrong with that!)
