I had the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and loved it (I also own an iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel). The fingerprint sensor was seriously the fastest I have ever used in any phone. It also had the best battery life, by far, of any phone I've owned. I use my phone for everything and I could still get 2 days out of it. The dual camera "stereo mode" was incredible, as well. I'm a big fan of Xiaomi.
Be that as it may, the pixel might have a fast unlocking speed with the fingerprint scanner but whenever it was in my pocket, it would automatically be unlocked and whenever I took it out of my pocket, the phone would be on the home screen randomly, and I didn’t even put my finger on the sensor so it definitely had a lot of problems. This was the Google pixel phone 2016 on android nougat And I got rid of it to get an iPhone because that just doesn’t happen on an iPhone and it never well I like the pixel I had a great camera but as of right now obviously I still wouldn’t because it’s from 2016 I only got $70 from it. Google might be a great company and they may have great phones but they don’t have great resale values because I literally got $70 from Best Buy and I went to Verizon and they literally only gave me 30 more dollars. They gave me $100 for it and I paid over $600 for it so yeah Google may have a great phones but they don’t have great resale values, so you may be right, but you’re not really right because they don’t have great resale values like iPhones and Samsung phones lol
Also, pixel is the worst phone and the worst company it’s Google I mean it makes a lot of sense Google is dirty but also I would send it the Google pixel from 2016 the Google pixel one 2016 I would turn off automatic updates in the software settings, and in the app, Store in the Google play store and I would wake up the next day whether my phone was still on, and the screen was off or it was power off. I would power back on in both the software and the amps would be updated to the latest version and I had all updates off for both apps in the play store and all the software updates, automatic updates were off for everything and it would update it for me when I told it specifically not to so yeah sounds like a very great phone. Perfect for people who don’t care if their software is updated whether their software updates or offer not great phone. Yeah they also said that the erasing feature for offenses and stuff would come to all Google pixel one and two devices once a pixel four came out guess what that never happened they lied about that as well. They’re not very good with customer support. Fuck google.

Snapdragon is considered flagship but that's only because its the only readily available chipset for use by anyone. For the everyday developers you have to choose between Qualcomm and Mediatek. Mediatek chips are absolute garbage right now so Qualcomm wins out by default. Plus, the reality of benchmark scores is that they mean little to nothing without optimization. Snapdragon works for everything and that is why its considered flagship even though its not even close to flagship. the 835 should change things though...
These issues should all be fixed with not only their MediaTek X30 but the P25 as well. One can only hope. Their Antutu number have been quite good so far, we just need to see it in devices, and that should be in the next couple months. But the reality is that MediaTek is playing catchup so while I have no doubt that their new chipsets will out perform Snapdragon 820-821 I don't think that they will outperform 835 which is suppose to be a HUGE step forward for QUALCOMM. I do love it when competition pushes innovation forward. The customer benefits heavily in those situations

I love EverythingApplePro, but you have to realize that a company like Xiaomi, being a smaller Chinese company, is able to release phones like this in small quantities. Also because Samsung creates displays they could create a similar reproduction of the Mi Mix display, or create something even better.

Its not even that the score are low..lol its just the A10 is ridiculously powerful. Rightnow the industry is lead by the A10, Exynos 8890, Kirin 960. Snapdragon is considered flagship but that's only because its the only readily available chipset for use by anyone. For the everyday developers you have to choose between Qualcomm and Mediatek. Mediatek chips are absolute garbage right now so Qualcomm wins out by default. Plus, the reality of benchmark scores is that they mean little to nothing without optimization. Snapdragon works for everything and that is why its considered flagship even though its not even close to flagship. the 835 should change things though...
These issues should all be fixed with not only their MediaTek X30 but the P25 as well. One can only hope. Their Antutu number have been quite good so far, we just need to see it in devices, and that should be in the next couple months. But the reality is that MediaTek is playing catchup so while I have no doubt that their new chipsets will out perform Snapdragon 820-821 I don't think that they will outperform 835 which is suppose to be a HUGE step forward for QUALCOMM. I do love it when competition pushes innovation forward. The customer benefits heavily in those situations

Performance is better on the iPhone due to hardware and software optimized for each others but like screen resolution, cannot really be noticed. I'd trade customization over that little bit of performance and whichever camera is better is debatable. Don't see how storage is better. Also, getting paid apps for free is a bonus. ;)

The problem with the Tech World is videos like this. I love EverythingApplePro, but you have to realize that a company like Xiaomi, being a smaller Chinese company, is able to release phones like this in small quantities. Apple on the other hand cannot release a phone like this even though it might be in development in years because they have to source hundreds of millions of components every year. This is just not feasible.
Mafaz Abdul Karim true, but also that apple can release special editions like they did with the IPhone 6 or 6s, and apple only has a flagship phone each year, so they could still integrate the bezel free display for the anniversary iphone 8. Whereas Samsung has a flagship series, the s series, the s series on steroids AKA Note series, but also has lower end and mid spec tiers such as the J series and A series. Also because Samsung creates displays they could create a similar reproduction of the Mi Mix display, or create something even better.

Ben Paulsen and MIUI 8 is very nice actually, not for everyone but I've used it and really enjoyed it. its based on Android 6.0.1 which barely any phones are on yet so it's up to date
