I'm using windows 8.1 I need an app that can help me to change mouse pointer size because thes default pointer that comes with windows in control panel section is so small to me
Your channel is a gold mine to me. I was just about ready to look for a screen recorder and pay for it, but found this video and it is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much for the video.
I'm still on Win10, and for my simple needs, the PowerPoint screen record trick that I first learned from your channel gets the job done! I'll definitely check this new software if I get on Win11. Thank you for your useful tips as always, Kevin!
Nice attempt Microsoft. The online Clipchamp is usable for some simple recordings but it has so many limitations that you should look for other completely free alternatives. Nice attempt but the limitations overcome its functionality.
Submit feedback to the ClipChamp team through the app. There's a team working on it, and they have Microsoft resources behind them. I'm sure it'll continue improving rapidly.
I love you!!!! No seriously, I really do. I've spent HOURS over the past few days not only searching for screen recording tools but I'm an editing idiot and never can figure out the timelines or any of that stuff. This video is the absolute best I've ever seen in explaining (ALL of your videos are) and I now feel like I can confidently create a screen recording for new new hire next month. Thank you!
wow, this looks awesome- I didn't have a clue about this type of software until I started watching UA-cam videos several hours/day now that I'm retired- and I can see how it would be nice to record the webcam and whatever is on the desktop- so I started searching around and discovered many complex and expensive programs for this purpose- so to find the W11 screen recorder is fantastic- so thanks for this tutorial
ive always used the screen capture of xbox in windows11. thanks for this tho im sticking with my new-found software that i also found through ur channel which is obs
So excited to be able to use this. While PowerPoint has a similar capability, this provide so many ore options and expands beyond simple presentations. Thank you, you always have great information to share!
Wow! You do not know what don't know. I have been looking for the option to record my screen. And I finally found it for free. Thank you very much for sharing
Honestly I don't really need Clipchamp just for the screen recorder because I use Premiere Pro, and Twitch Studio for recording my screen. But nice video as always 😉
I so much love this guy, I don't know why I just trust your videos more than other right from the first time i watched your excel video. You give out important informations.💯💯💯💯
This is mind blowing to me! Thank you so much for this video. I had no idea this was free and pre-installed on my computer nor how to make videos like this. This is fabulous!
Hey Kevin…good morning and greetings from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Once again, my decision to “Subscribe” to your channel has paid off as this “Screen Recorder” idea/benefit seems to be an excellent tool for those certain applications. I have other questions for you for another day. Best, Randy
I'm testing ClickChamp. I have Microsoft 365. Some experience: * Simple to use, with relatively good control of splitting segments, etc. * Very slow to export to 1080p mp4 * Clunky file "explorer" -- looks web-based, and is very primitive. No remembering of the directory of the previous clip I stored * When I split up a recording into several segments, I wish it was possible to make one segment active, and save only that segment.
Hi Kevin, Thank you for your informative videos. I have a particular case in excel in which I couldn’t find any solution to it and I hope you can help me with it. If I have various numbers in column B, and I need these numbers to be (increased/decreased): - By 0.5 either to make it 20.5 or 19.5 - Or by 1 to make it either 21 or 19 - Or 2 to make it 22 or 18 …etc. The change should be based on two conditions, a selected text from a drop-down list in the next cell in column C in addition to a number I type in the cell next to them in column D, for example: - The first case scenario is: When I type the number 20 in cell B2 and then I choose the text “increase” from a drop-down list in cell C2 and then I type 0.5 in the cell D2, I want this “increase” to be reflected on B2 and make it 20.5 - The second case scenario: When I type the number 15 in cell B3 and then I choose the text “decrease” from a drop-down list in cell C3 and then I type any number like 1, 2 or 3 in the cell D3, I want this “decrease” to be reflected on B3 and make it 14, 13 0r 12 - The third case scenario: When I type number 10 in cell B4 and then I don’t choose any text from a drop-down list in cell C4 and leave it blank with cell D4, I don’t want any change to be reflected on B4 and leave it 10 as it is. I hope you can find time to answer this very soon. Thanks again.
Kevin - as usual great vid and as usual I'm either toggling my 2 surface pros to follow your tutorial or jumping on and off the screen to refer to your directions! ! ! My Clipchamp looks a tad' different than yours... to you have a premium version?
How exciting to have a quality screen recorder and video editor built into Windows 11. Thank you Kevin! UPDATE: After downloading the app, many of the basic "features" such as 1080 exporting, watermark removal, require a subscription! Technically it is not free, unless you want a large ugly watermark on your video and a low resolution 720p exports!
I personally use OBS Studio to capture my screen and DaVinci Resolve Studio to edit 👍 Complexity is much higher, but you have much more control over the output.
Nice. I have just started to experiment with ClipChamp, and have some comments + questions... Comments: * Export appears to be really slow. Typically takes considerably longer than playing the clip... * The File browser when saving to OneDrive is very, very primitive... No memory of the directory I used in a previous save Questions - I'm editing some presentations recorded in Teams, e.g., splitting several presentations recorded in one go. * I need to insert a PowerPoint slide in front of each presentation. How do I do this? Record the PowerPoint window and drag it in? How to determine the length of the slide part? * One presenter accidentally muted his mic during the presentation, and I need to re-record the voice only. How do I do that, and merge the new voice clip with the video? My Teams set-up... I connected my own laptop to a projector in the room where some attendees gathered. Others participated virtually via Teams. Speakers then logged into Teams, and shared their screen. I then recorded the presentations. This allows for speakers sitting anywhere, and I can also sit and control the recording. Problem: some speakers in the audience started to walk around during the presentation, and the mic on their PC failed. So next time I'd like to use some sort of lavalier mic, and connect it to my own PC. What is the best way to do this? * Some bluetooth mic? * Transmitters/receivers with radio signals, a la Hollyland Lark M1? * other solutions?
Kevin, when doing software tutorials what window size or screen resolution do you advise for UA-cam optimal viewing? e.g., 1280 x 720 or something else a bit smaller?

This looks a lot like Camtasia. NICE! Can you determine *_where_* the video is being stored? Also, is there the ability to highlight your cursor and show what keys are being pressed? Thanks!
Actually, the transition shouldn't have to be in between two objects. Let's say I want to animate the first image from the left edge to the middle of the screen, I should be able to do that -- unless I've missed out something.
Found the solution: 1) Duplicate the image; 2) Place one at the left edge and the other one in the middle; 3) Link these two identical images with the 'Push Right' transition.
Hey Kevin, thanks for the amazing and useful video!! are you please able to show us how we can use voice changer through it and if it is free or not. appreciate your hard work!
