Don’t do it! You have enough on your plate with family responsibilities and your wonderful talent of art. Things always take longer than one thinks! Just because it’s free doesn’t mean you should go for it. Work on the inside and outside of your current home-it’s not finished yet. Wait for another free house later on that has electricity, plumbing and drywall already done and could be moved. You really need to build up an emergency fund. (My advice as an old retired guy.)
Your art is fantastic, teaching is so admirable sharing your talent with others I would come but the uk is too far to travel. Good luck with new project .
Wow that is pretty cool! I know you can do it, and it will be a wonderful studio to use for your school and the upper story you could do so much with! Sending you positive thoughts and well wishes two months is a good amount of time ! I do believe you can do it ! Like you I can appreciate the history and beauty of the old wood and architectural features! Can’t wait to watch your journey with this house!
You know,, there are lots of channels that just turn on the camera on a tripod and record the progress. I don’t know how doable that would be, but maybe the older kids could help by managing the video footage and that would be a way to help that is safe. Then the videos could help with funding the project. The real issue for me would be the nasty people that always seem to have negative things to say as if they’ve got life figured out. If you could deal with that and just delete hateful people then it might be a way to help fund it. Just thinking out loud here. It would be a wonderful way to ultimately have a studio where you could make money from the project long term. Thanks for sharing your project with us. God bless and keep you.
Well, God bless you in this endeavor! It will be a fantastic place to have a studio and school if/when it’s finished. Maybe you can take it in 4 large pieces on a flat bed. We understand not having the funds for a mover. We will be praying for you!
I love watching your channel and am so glad you are back! I feel a bit smarter after watching lol. Watching you for the first bit, I was like, WHAT could you get out of it? then you started pointing out the baseboards etc. Have you thought about, if you start teaching, doing an online course as well?
You've got plenty of courage, may your mind service your body so that it all works out just the way you want. You're tapping the depths of me as I'm facing challenges of the inverse and wondering if I can do it without any help. Heavy duty and I'm feelin' ya. Stay strong, one nail, one truck load at a time. (where's those boys?)
This reminds me of my brother’s situation. He is a quantum physicist who works as a part time professor and part time small contractor. He bought a little house that was falling apart and had big plans for it. He chopped the top level into four pieces with a reciprocating saw and hired a crane to move it to the back yard, jacked up the foundation with car jacks, built a second story and then had the crane put the pieces back on. (Now listed for $950,000!) All that to say…you could divide the house into pieces, hire a crane to put the pieces on a flat bed, move it to the new location and put it all back together. It would be cheaper than moving it intact because no utility wires would have to be lifted. But it would be more expensive than $500 😊 how exciting! Did they give you a deadline to have it moved away?
Wow! That’s so exciting! Yes, unfortunately I only have two months to remove the house. Luckily, I’m allowed to leave everything I don’t want to take. (Also, the art is already looking like it’s picking up again!)

When time permits, please let all your friends on UA-cam know how your family, Art, and the progress with this house are doing. Tks
A video of you teaching students would make a great addition. Keep up the painting video, love the old house by the way.🙏👍🇬🇧
Good luck on your new venture Trent, many thumbs up and good wishes for you and your family ❤

I live in France and feel just the same. If only we could be taught online. :)
You got this. Can't wait to see what you do with it. The art market is slow right now, but it will pick up. 🙏stay strong🙏
I’d come to help too but I’d end up sitting with your wife chatting… lol I will live vicariously through you! Your art is fantastic. It’ll pick up.

Thanks for sharing. You’re so smart and humble, and we all love that about you. Do what you can. We’ll be watching.
Frame the wallpaper pieces in squares. Document and share with the local museum. I'm sure they would love the historical information.
Good luck and courage from France!
This is awesome.
Bohot Mubarak ho! Stay blessed!❤

Great vision but lot of work. Looking forward to following the progress. I am sure the kids will pitch in.

Big project but you can do it one bit at a time. Love the wood work in old houses. They just don’t make things like they used to
Coz that's what you need..... another project🤣🤣🤣
Ha! Exactly my thoughts! What have I gotten myself into?! 😅
You can do it, it's going to be a wonderful studio. 😂
Live Life ! Thanks Straight Ahead ✌😎 PS maybe you can Barter Your art for Help ?
