NTA, she broke the rule of food being in the break room, when asked by OP to FOLLOW THE RULES, blasts her on social media because her food smelled and couldn't eat there. The manager simply did what any sane person would do. The worst part was the assumptions, and she was wrongly accused of racism. Her misinterpretation shouldn't OP's problem. OP wasn't being racist against Korean food, especially when all she asked is for her to follow the rule, and the food wasn't even Korean.
Office etiquette suggests not eating strong smelling food, it has nothing to do with culture, just smell. She was correct to connect it to a tuna sandwhich, it's strong smelling.
Nta you should not feel bad at all she blew this all out of proportion, you apologized and did all that you could to be as quiet as possible when asking for your own personal space, she should adhere to company rules(Assuming that that’s what they are) to eat in the break room she is no right to be eating in a place that will disrupt company work so keep your head held high and I’m so sorry that this happened to you
Question: do you think the Korean coworker could be accused of hatıng Korea for calling those monstrocities "korean cooking"? Not Korean myself, but calling a racid odour "cultural" sounds offensıve....
I'm assuming it says bad as it says it is and if it is someone can probably say it even though it might not be true and she might just be an idiot, I've never had Korean cooking that I know of so I'm probably not the best person to reply to this
I feel like everyone in that office except the manager hated op for her sensitivities that she had and made up more lies to get her fired. Disgusting behavior from them.🤢🤮 If I was in that meeting and the manager was pretty chill I probably would said "Thank you for being understanding but I don't like this sort of work environment and will start looking for a new where everyone doesn't hate me."
I have seen this before a while ago covered by a different youtuber, and it turns out one of the offending dishes was chicken alfredo, which must have used spoilt milk/cream in
@Just_kloomzy it wasn't even just expired ingredients it wasn't even Korean food but she wanted the girl to get in trouble so she let the boss think it was so she could accuse her of being racist which is disgusting
@@troubleinthevalley5884 yeah but I have tried asian food I repsect their culture cuisene and people the food is smells and is very good so I think not only she used expired ingredients vut she wanted to do the thing u alr said
so i guess the co worker must have grew up used to eating rotten food otherwise how oblivious would they be to bring rotten food to their workplace and eat it like its the best
@@daisyzaragoza9163 There seems to be a lot of fellow fans. I found out four of my co-workers were fans, too just before I retired. We had a few discussions about the show before my last day.
I think generally no matter what if somebody’s stomach is upset because it smells you just put your food away or eat it somewhere else. I have a friend who on her period. She would get incredibly nauseous to the point she would start gagging she didn’t care if it was a cultural food or not she just asked everyone not to eat around her and she wouldn’t sit near anyone when everybody was eating and I think that’s the best solution.
Ur fine, u didnt do anything I love asian cuisene and respect the culture and the people Ill say that maybe ask her to check if the ingredients are expired
Op is nta but it annoys that they won't tell what happened just kept repeating that they didn't say that the coworker couldn't bring Korean food and it keeps revolving around that
I think it was her responding to comments and the narrator not specifying that so it just sounded more incoherent. Also I believe the story took place a 2 day period so the day of the incident then the day of the meeting.
1:50 If came from short

As a white american, I find the smell of Korean food absolutely delicious. This has got to be something completely different.
I have seen this before a while ago covered by a different youtuber, and it turns out one of the offending dishes was chicken alfredo, which must have used spoilt milk/cream in
She used expired ingredients
Yeah I wrote this before finishing the story

They can sue that chick for defamation like fr get some money outta the situation or something
This girl repeats herself like 500 times-
I think she genuinely lost her taste buds and sense of smell, thats why she can eat it without throwing up.
so i guess the co worker must have grew up used to eating rotten food otherwise how oblivious would they be to bring rotten food to their workplace and eat it like its the best
OMG! It's Fatima on From(T.V. series)
The character has started eating rotten food, that is one of the show's mysteries
OMGG YOU LIKE FROM? I LOVE FROM

@@melissadavenport5176 How about the ending of Sunday's episode! I have to wait a week for the other shoe? EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
@ I haven’t watched it yet but last weeks broke me, like what?!?
As an Asian, I hate Kimchi simply because of the smell.
Also Asian and real omfg 😿

Maybe OP's coworker had ageusia, or loss of taste
The second half of the video is the exact same story all over again.
I think its op’s responses to comments on the post maybe
Good to know that thous two coworker that have a skittle for a brain and they don't even use the skittle

Wait so exactly,WHY are you repeating stuff?Girl it isnt very mindful😭😭😭😭😭😭
I think it was all the responses to Comments she was getting
NTA. OP needs to sue her for defamation.
1:50 for the shorts
I think we can tell she’s a average Twitter user 🤦♀️
Lmao I'd make sure to smirk at her on the way out just to be petty 😂
Some people just like getting upset over things.
OML 💀 ONE OF THE ADS I GOT STARTED WITH “bleh! It stinks!”
Racism goes bothersome says and some people just have victim mentalities

You just yapped about someone's cooking being bad...do it more.

If you were raised by Latino parents, you'd be fine. 😂😂😂😂
I don’t think being raised in any culture can make you more tolerant of spoiled food 😆
Just get to the main point what with all those yapping
She sounds like my ex SIL.
Ngl why she make this food taste like shit is problem cause it makes her feel more Korean
