Carson's singing is consistently better than I expect.
He's found the sweet spot for sure.
@@Freempg Agreed. Carson has had a lot of growing up to do. He likes to hold the notes a fraction of a second too long, and he intentionally mispronounces vowels a little bit, and he makes those silly faces and it's all just "lookatmelookatme." To be fair, it's hard to put your ego away. Josh doesn't have that problem, which is one of the things that makes him so great. Carson really struggles with it, but this performance is SO much better. It's nice to watch him mature and I really hope he keeps it up.

For me, Josh and Carson are the most relatable musicians. Maybe because it's almost as if we have the privilege to see them grow as artists . For me it's been a beautiful experience till now. I'm 17 and I will meet you two someday, someday! :)
Highly recommend! Saw them live a couple years ago in Vancouver BC. Shook their hands and bantered with em' while I bought a shirt. SUPER nice fellas; one of my favorite concert experiences so far, especially after watching them both online for so long :)
I’d love to see a chill video about your songwriting process, including music and lyrics, and maybe a few stories of how some of these songs were written as celebration for 600k subs!

Brilliantly done, gentlemen! Carson’s smokey baritone is perfect for this, and the harmony is dead on and beautifully eerie! Just enough strings to support the story. Perfect blend! Congrats on yet another wonderful recording, and I hope you can return to Canada to entertain us northerners again in the near future!

The first several seconds really confused me thinking this was a Hozier cover.
This is just pure gold. Like an old country song in that story/ballad tradition.
I don't tend to listen to originals when I got to know the artist from doing covers of other songs. For some reason the sentimental value of the covered songs add a lot to the enjoyement for me. However, these originals are different and I've enjoyed every single one of them. Got a sweet spot for "Cherry Wine'' and "Jesus Horse Camp". Your originals make me feel like I've already heard the songs a hundred times, as if they're classics already. Can't wait for the next one! :)

This is so good, guys! Carson's voice like gravel through chocolate (sounds weird but it IS a compliment!); Josh - as always, walking on water - making the guitar sing; great beat and melody. Everything right and purposeful in the service of beauty, of elegance, of musical joy. This is (is going to be) an album to buy and give as a gift to loved ones with an ear for good music.
