Love your videos!
Thx for the video. One thing I found is if you turn off the trims a lot less to trim on the back end. It is easy enough to trim on front. Also if you can move the text closer together it avoids the trims.
Hello
Thanks for sharing how your multi needle works!
Suggestions on where to get child aprons?
Try All About Blanks
Yes and I have gotten red, burgundy, green, and blue at Sams also. They change colors all the time
Lucky you!! I've only seen black and white at the Sam's near me. Thanks!
I just wanted little information for embroidered software embellished which one I want to buy
I visit Sams more than HEB and I didn’t know they sold Aprons. Love all your teachings you are the best!
The aprons are back by the commercial kitchen stuff. Another commenter said they get other colors in their Sam's so that's pretty cool!
You could also just print out your design, find the center point, mark it with a fabric pen, then use quilting rulers and a quilting cutting mat to create centering lines on the apron if you already have these tools and don’t want to have to buy another tool.
True. There are many ways to center in the hoop but I tried to keep as close to the instructions as possible. Thanks for watching!
You are the best! And the tips you give are too! Thank-you!
Love watching you work. I always learn something.
Awesome, thank you!
I am a commercial Embroiderer and I was trained to use Tear Away with Woven Type Items. Even if you are wearing it, like Oxford Shirts or Aprons. I would not want to see a big piece of Cut Away Stabilizer on the back of my apron. If it is all you have, use it.
Thanks! Always love to hear from a professional. 😊
You are the best instructor! I’ve learned so much from you, Becky! Thank you!!!
I have started using T pins to hold the stabilizer in the hoop so it doesn't move. Becky you are an awesome instructor. Thanks a million.
Glad that helps! I don't find I need it all the time, but for those dense stitch designs, it's a real game changer. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Hi Becky have you done the little houses on the Kimberbell box of last year. Do you have a video?
No, I never got to any of those projects so I gifted the box. Sorry.
The quilt on your design wall is beautiful. Check the third block on the top row.…looks like it needs to be rotated to the right. 😊 great video.
Thanks for the tip! I've rotated it. :)
Love the Sam's aprons! I've used them for years.
Cute, love it.
Loved your instructions. Love your design wall. The quilt on your wall is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
I thought this was one of the best videos you’ve done in a long time. I have been doing machine embroidery for years but I always like hearing your tips. I have started a playlist for both of my daughters whom I gifted embroidery machines to. Hoping that someday they will pick up my love of machine Embroidery. I started listening when you were first talking about saving and organizing designs on a computer. Thank you for your wonderful informative videos.
Made an apron today using tear away, and it tore away some of the stitches…tomorrow I will try the sticky soluble….and thanks for the “You wear it, don’t tear it”…I will always remember that!
I have brother embroidered sewing machine innov-is v3se I m beginner so I m little confused so which one software I can buy
Excellent instructions! (As usual). I’m from Canada so we don’t have a Sam’s Club here but I had purchased white aprons at Walmart earlier this fall for $6.00 each and I thought that was a good price. I needed 3 and they had 3 left. I’m hoping to make these aprons for my 3 granddaughters. Thanks for the tips.
They will love them!
FYI- I checked my local Sam’s Club - they have the 3 pack aprons for $8.99 . Cheaper ? How bout that!!!
Love this idea for gifts or bazaars . Hope you get your motorhome back this week…. Fingers crossed
Thanks for directions of how to change colors on 10 needle!
Plz give me same information
You can use no show fusible or non fusible stabilizer .
The way you just assigned the colors was so easy. I’m still confused with assigning colors and never knew the way you just did. Thank you.
I kind of figured that out on my own. It's much easier than going through all the hassle of assigning colors according to the pattern ahead of time. I only go to the trouble if I'm doing a big project that uses the same colors over and over.
@@PowerToolsWithThread I get so confused because aren’t there like 3 or 4 different ways and places you can assign colors. But your way seems the easiest. Thank you again.
Thank you For great educational video. Just getting back to embroidery and need to be reminded of technic
Hi Becky, Did you wash the apron before stitching the design to prevent distortion after wearing and washing?
Nope. My aprons get to looking pretty awful after a couple of months so distortion is the lest of my problems. lol
OMG…I need a hoop mat!!!! And you are wearing the tee shirt I asked my kids to get me for Christmas!!! Love it!!
Super video! Thanks Becky🥰
LOVE!!! my new seam ripper you sent out before your adventure in Houston. I love the weighted feel - and the red! Happy quilter! I also sew wedding alterations from home so that's where I have been using it!
I just found this! How did I miss it? I needed some apron blanks that weren't cheap looking and these are perfect. Hope Sam's still has them!
Super deal
Such a cute apron! Thank you for sharing!
Love the chain quilt on the wall over your shoulder. Really love the colors. Can't tell if the blocks are already sewn together, but top row, third block from left is turned wrong. Also, what type and size needle do you use for piecing. Thanks for all you do and share. You are greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much! I've turned it. Good eye!
Aquamesh Plus! I never use tearaway. It looks tacky to me. I also use use poly mesh no show fusible. Love your videos!
Great video as usual. Thank you. Love the apron. Great for gifts
Excellent❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦love your instructions for this!
Oh Becky, too funny. I embroidered aprons and dishtowels today, and then I see your video after 🤣
Looks awesome.
Great video!! Learned a lot from you for my new embroidery!
Hi !
I’m currently struggling with puckering on my apron I used doble year away backing 😫 what size needle do you recommend ?
You moved your long arm?
Good eye! Yep, I changed the room around from being aesthetically pleasing to being more functional. Love it!
Cute project! Now I need to find time to actually bake something with a cute apron on.
I hear you! lol Baking "ain't my thang". I can...but I don't care for it. Savory dinners - meat and potatoes - I'm all over that. But I can still wear my cute KB apron!
@@PowerToolsWithThread Same here. I used to cook like gourmet, but lost interest in it when I discovered sewing was way more fun and I could sit down to do it! hahaha
Becky where did you get your red mat. I see it has 2 1/2 in lines. Love it I’ve gotta get me one! You are teaching me so much thank you sweetie! I’ve made so many Angels I’m giving them to everyone I know lol
Perfect gifts! Good for you! I picked up this mat from an independent vendor at the Houston show years ago. But I'm working with MegaMat to make a new one for me that's customized. They are great folks! When I get the new mat, I'll provide all the info!
@@PowerToolsWithThread please do, that will be awesome… and I love y’all’s RV. We are looking for a C class too, one small enough that I can drive.. I do most of the driving lol
"I'm gonna let you see it when its dry", and then your video ended. I love your videos but this ending has me confused. Thanks
