Spot on! Many get Scripture that is directed at a group and attempt to apply it to an individual. That is just one part of correctly dividing Scripture. Absolutely great video! You are a big encouragement!
Thank you dear Brother! Clear Scripture! Eyes up! Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus' death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection for payment of all your sins, past, present and future. Yes! Repentance is simply a change of mind.
"I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me, and I will mourn for those who have sinned before, and not repented of their uncleanness, and fornication, and lewdness which they have practised" 2nd CORINTHIANS 12:21
Pray for me yall these holidays this week got me stressed out trying to juggle work and everything else. Trying to work on trusting the Lord, but when I come upon obstacles it gets rough. Thank you! Great video these are so helpful in these times of need 👍🏼and I love how you said these scriptures are not always for us, rather I guess some stories are examples to learn from, some literal. Good stuff
Just take it a day at a time, a minute at a time if necessary, and do the next kind thing, and before you know it, the holidays will be behind you and you will be back in the old routine.
What Bible verse says you only have to repent in your mind and heart and not in a person’s actions? How do explain 1 Corinthians 6:9, Galatians 5:16-21, and Rev 2:14-23, if you don’t have to repent for your all your sins?
Actions do flow from repentance (changed heart/mind), but the repentance needed for salvation is a repentance of the sin of unbelief (John 16:8-9, Acts 16:31, John 6:40, Eph 2:8-9, etc). Turning from all the other sins in your life is what we're called to as believers in the process of progressive sanctification. Turning from all other sins is a work. Jonah 3:10, "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not." Turning from their evil ways was a work, and we aren't saved by works lest any man should boast (Eph 2:8-9). I'm making videos on passages like you referred to. Here's 1 Cor 6:9-11: ua-cam.com/video/eZc02vO3rC0/v-deo.html Gal 5 is video is coming, haven't made it yet. Revelation 2:15-16 "So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against THEM with the sword of my mouth." Jesus is fighting the Nicolaitanes, not the church. Rev 2:20-23 "Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave HER (not "you") space to repent of HER fornication; and SHE repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast HER into a bed, and THEM that commit adultery WITH HER into great tribulation, except THEY repent of their deeds. (Notice He says "They" and "Them", not "You") 23 And I will kill HER children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works." Here Jesus is addressing Jezebel and those committing adultry with her, not the church itself. The church had been pulled into fornication, but Jesus doesn't say I gave YOU time to repent of adultry, but them. The church was already positionally forgiven (Col 2:13), yet needed to repent of the sin they'd committed to restore fellowship with God (fellowship, and not salvation. When a child rebels against their parent, they don't loose their status as a child, but their fellowship with their parent is thrown off and needs correcting).
The judgment that jesus was pronouncing in the gospels was not to the world(kosmos) but in particular to the nation of Israel. The prophet that made the way for jesus(john the baptist) said in Matthew 3:10 that the axe was already at the root of the trees. From chapter 21 of Matthew all the way up to 25 jesus pronounces judgement on israel for committing adultery against God, for killing all the prophets that God sent to her and for finally committing the ultimate sin which was the rejection and the killing of The son of God jesus the Christ. You are right when you say we need to be careful and understand the context in which jesus is speaking when is talking about repentance and when he is pronouncing judgement. Great video 👍
I love your clarification videos. I believe in this hour Satan is coming to steal Believer’s faith. We must hold onto our first love.❤️ He died for us and promised to never leave us. That’s the truth.🤍

Repentance for the believer is turning from all sin compared to repenting of unbelief to get saved.
