Building Your Life on Jesus The Firm Foundation for Success
Yo, please check this out man, it's relevant/significant & I think you should see it: James 2:18-2:26. Essentially says, "Faith without works is dead." Just somethin to consider. But I really appreciate your video and the clarification, thank you very much. I needed to hear this, it truly resonated with me. Felt it in my heart & soul. God bless you brother. Godspeed 🙏🏻
Remember it says, “I NEVER knew you” NOT “I once knew you.” The passage also referred to those who tried to obtain heaven by “works” based religion. “We prophesied, we cast out demons.” We did all these religious activities - not faith in Jesus, but trying to earn their way. Works is BECAUSE we are saved, not by works lest anyone should both to be saved.
Thank you so much, I needed to hear this explanation🙏
Great post! Evil pharisee types like to push the demonic false slavish fear and that’s wrong!
Hey broski, I just wanted to say I’m a new Christ follower and I’m trynna get back in my faith and I’ve got only abt 3 UA-cam Channels that I watch for good encouragement and knowledge, and this is prob my favorite, I see WAY to many people basically contradicting what you and the Word says, and what Christ and the Father has said, and they’re incorrect. People try to play the whos more righteous game and they don’t even understand the core fundamentals of following Christ, makes me cringe lol I pray they find the Truth. Idk who’s teaching them these doctrines or whatever, it’s usually younger people deceived. But yea just wanna say thank you brother in Christ for doing the good work of The Lord and spreading the Truth in the darkness and falseness of the world. This is what Christ meant when he said the path was narrow, not about works. Keep doing what your doing I look forward to these vids and I know one thing, idk what you deal with or whatever but God WILL bless you, and make good on his promise to help and heal the Faithful!!! 👍🏼💪🏼
We are saved now but Jesus says we have to endure (continue believing/obeying) during the tribulation. We can find other clear examples in scripture that we must endure to stay saved. Hebrews 3:14 For we have come to share in Christ, [IF] indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. Colossians 1:22-23 He has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, [IF] INDEED YOU CONTINUE IN THE FAITH, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister. Mark 13:13 And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one WHO ENDURES TO THE END WILL BE SAVED. Revelation 3:3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. KEEP IT, AND REPENT.[IF] you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. Revelation 14:12 Here is a calll for the ENDURANCE OF THE SAINTS, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Revelation 3:5,10-12 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. 10Because you have kept my word about PATIENT ENDURANCE, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. 11I am coming soon. HOLD FAST what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. 12The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.
There are lil more than 300 messianic prophecies known and he also clearly the angel of God /the Lord in the old testament. Jesus loves you 🙏🏼❤️✝️
He who does the will of my father is the context.your opinion is speculative at best.remember people Yashuah did not come to abolish the law or the profits ,so if you do the will of the father you won’t hear Yashuah saying to you depart from me you workers of lawlessness.peace be upon you all.🙏🏼❤️🥖🍷🇦🇺🇮🇱🌏
Fake laws lol He FULFILLED All 613 of the laws of Moses!
Bless you for this wonderful short bible study. :) I am in process of fully trusting God (God is working on that in my life as of now), and while it hasnt been the most pleasant journey in the world... it is teaching me so much what God is trying to reveal to me! It's been a huge blessing learning more about God and His character/promises about His children. To God be the glory, forever and ever! AMEN.
Wonderful upload! So clear and concise. 🙏♥
Great talk, brother! ♥🙏
Thank you so much for this! I have been bothered by that passage for years, even after a thorough biblical education in college and seminary. This makes so much sense!! I'm encouraged. 🙏🏻 God bless.
God Bless 💜

I've sinned beyond repair, i am so scared of hell, please God have mercy. Send prayers.
Thank you for sharing the truth brother.
Thank you for explaining this. It is very comforting to think about Jesus coming for us and rescuing us from this evil world.
The acknowledgement of Pharisees casting out demons was quite...umm... eye-opening
You are not dividing the word correctly.
During the tribulation jews will be under the law again… many will take the mark.
Do you have a video on rapture type teaching?
Some but I will make more in the future I think.
@ yes please. It’s so encouraging and I love how God uses you to explain everything.
That verse is to jews during the tribulation. We as born again christians have already overcomers. The jews in the tribulation must overcome and be faithful to the end.
So they're saved by works/persevering? The gospel has always been the same: faith in the Messiah and His attonement, never by works. Abraham believed God, and it was counted to Him for righteousness (Gen 15:6). We know more about the Messiah than the OT revealed, and Jesus redeemed all of the OT saints as well (Gal 4:4-5). And yes, the context is about enduring to the end of the Tribulation when Jesus comes back to save the elect from complete distruction (Matt 24:22).
I wish I could discuss what all of this means in detail, but YT blocks my longer comments. But yes, OSAS.
Annoying when UA-cam does that, but 100% once a son, always a son. Having children makes you appreaciate that concept so much more.
Aaaaaameeeeeen brotha! ❤🙏
Thank you so much for this dear brother, needed to hear this. You explained it so beautifully . God bless you and your family.
But people can forsake Him after knowing Him
Yet He remains faithful (2 Tim 2:13). Peter denied 3 times even knowing Him, but was never cut off.
Beautiful ,thank you beautiful sister.
It is true that we are saved by His righteousness and grace alone. This is for our eternal redemption. However, scripture does place an importance on works for the Kingdom to come. Not for saving and redemption, but for the exaltation of the saints whom walked faithfully in Christ all their days. For they too shall have their reward. Revelations explains there are 24 judgment seats around Christ's throne. 12 chosen apostles of the Israelites from Israel before Christ's atonement. 12 chosen apostles from the Israelites of America after resurrection, who were of the two lost tribes of Jacob. Their history documented in the Book of Mormon. Christ's visitation of them documented in 3rd Nephi. There is a difference between salvation and exaltation in His Kingdom. Salvation comes first. Am I worthy of exaltation? No. I hope in some ways, despite my own faltering and imperfection ~ given the immense challenges I have faced by no fault of my own ~ grace will cover these imperfections. That I may be eternally sealed to my Him and my children forever. This is his full truth. And, I cannot lie. Being who I am. Salvation is covered solely by his grace. Exaltation includes grace and works. A tear ~ 💧 Humbly His ~ InJn
You are falsely focused on you and not on Jesus.
Its good that you understand that those 2 verses are misused. I completely agree. They may be the most misunderstood and abused verses in the entire Bible. But, respectfully, you have the reason wrong! It is great that you are obviously using the KJV. Why do I know this? Because you use UNTO. Every other “version” changes that absolutely critical word to either “to the” or “until” and it renders these verses a direct attack on salvation itself. The word unto primarily infers “purpose”. It does NOT infer passage of time. This is so critical to understand! And those that don’t use the KJV never will! Unto is about purpose not time. Now look at “end”. A simple reading of “end” appears to coincide with the passage of time. IT DOES NOT! Look at the greek word end is translated from! Its “telos”. Read the definition: not not not not referring to the passage of time! It says this directly! End in these verses has nothing to do with passage of time. Are folks seeing how critical this is becoming? End here is something very different! A good place to get the perfect understanding of what “end” is in these verses is to go to the end (last) use of telos in the Bible. Guess where it is! It is in the last chapter: revelation 22. Jesus himself in red letters speaking: I am alpha and omega, the beginning and….wait for it!…..the END. The end there is telos! Its Jesus. The end is Jesus. See why its so important to see that the definition of telos specifies that its not about the passage of time? Is it apparent how damaging all the other versions of the Bible are? Is it any coincidence that Jesus in the same END chapter ( He is the Word afterall ) gives a stern warning about changing His word? So what do we have so far? Something about a purpose in Jesus that results in salvation. What could it possibly be? What results in salvation? We all know the answer….. Let’s therefore consider the word endure. Its hypomeno in the original. Summing up the definition in Blue Letter Bible it says to persevere by holding fast to one’s faith in Christ. It does not define HOW that is accomplished. So I ask: how is that done?? I would hope the answer is self explanatory and very obvious and Biblical to Christians…… We do this by BELIEVING! So then what does endure unto the end mean such that the same shall be saved? Its the basic message of the gospel! “Believe purposefully on Jesus” and you will be saved. Thats what those 2 verses mean. We do not have to try and find a dispensational reason to explain the verse! It doesn’t matter what dispensation you are in whether it be the present church age or the upcoming 7 years of Jacob’s Trouble. You get saved the same way…..believe purposefully on Jesus. The 2 most misunderstood verses in the entire Bible. Mostly due to corrupt Bible versions. I hope this helps someone out there!
Most Bible versions are not corrupt. The King James has its errors as well. No translation is inspired. Only the original manuscripts were inspired.
@ I disagree. God is perfect. Ergo He has given us a perfect copy of His Word. By definition there can be only one. This is just logic and reason. We MUST have an authority. There is a reason why Jesus calls Himself the Word. We have a perfect copy of the authoritative word of God. There must be one without error. Any error renders the entire book useless. These aren’t trivial claims. They are real and they have real consequences. As such we should expect a perfect God to have authenticated the copy of his Word that He has declared to be His only authoritative Word. Matthew 24:13 is one of those proofs. The KJV is the only Bible that preserves salvation per that verse. All other versions destroy it. That should serve as proof alone. That being said, I suggest that anyone with questions in this regard spend time at the truth is Christ channel on this platform. In my opinion that is the best authentication in existence that the KJV is in fact the perfect, preserved and purified Word of God. Again, it’s not trivial issue. I have shown that all other versions corrupt the message of salvation. Truth is Christ takes authentication to a magnificent undeniable level! Choose what you read wisely. It matters.
@@Scott767300 In Matthew 5:39, Jesus commands us to do evil. We are supposed to resist evil, not resist not evil. There are many other examples. Only the original MS were inspired.
@@statesman6379That is your false opinion.
You are asserting that we are saved by faithfulness, not faith. Faithfulness is a work faith is not . The dispensation context is correct, and you are wrong.
Matthew 7:22-23 *Greek Terms* [22]Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? In Matthew 7:22 the phrase wonderful works... in the greek is the word strong’s 1411 “doo'-nam-is” (doo'-nam-is) in the greek means : power, might, strength and used as physical power, force, might, ability, efficacy, energy, meaning... powerful deeds, deeds showing (physical) power, marvelous works. Matthew 7:23 [23]And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. In verse 23 the word iniquity is the Greek for word Strong's 458 “Anomian” which means lawlessness, but the root word for Anomian is Strong's 459 "Anomos" Anomos means to Be not subject to the law by implication the laws of Moses. Jesus is saying that on the day of judgment he is going to tell people who call him Lord Lord and perform miracles in his name he will tell them I never knew you because you worked against the laws of Moses. >Anomian/Anomos.<
This teaching is wonderful. I am so happy this popped up on my screen.
Thank you! God bless!
This guy is good I wish there was more of these teachers rightly dividing the word
Thank you, thank you, thank you! It’s so nice to hear someone get it right for a change. There are too many well-meaning pastors who distort the meaning of this passage. They basically sum it up as, “Well, maybe you’re not doing enough to help around the church more. The people in this passage thought they were doing enough but they weren’t. Maybe you should sign up for the bake sale next week?” This sets an impossible standard. The people described in this passage claim to have prophesied and cast out demons - something that most believers have never done. Are we really supposed to believe that prophets and exorcists won’t make it to heaven, but I will because of a bake sale? The whole focus becomes works-based again in terms of trying to earn our salvation when preached wrong, and goes against so many grace-filled passages in the Bible. Anyone who honestly believes this passage to mean, “I need to do more to earn God’s favor,” sets themselves up for misery and despair. How much is ever enough? If I need to earn my way to heaven, and prophets and exorcists won’t make it, how can I ever hope to earn it? But if we don’t have to earn it - if grace is indeed unmerited favor from God - then we need to approach this passage from a different angle. In part, I blame the Bibles with chapter/passage headings for adding to the confusion. Don’t get me wrong; those are perfectly fine most of the time. Telling me where to find “Adam and Eve leave the Garden of Eden” is easy for reference. But almost every Bible I’ve seen divides this section from what Jesus has just said about false prophets into its own section, as though Jesus made the comments in a vacuum several weeks after those other thoughts. The preachers may think they’re making sure their congregation doesn’t miss heaven, but ironically, they’re encouraging the most spiritually dangerous thing of all, and something the passage specifically warns against-trusting in our works to get us to heaven. I do have one point where I must respectfully disagree. I don’t believe that Pharisees were able to cast out demons and still not make it to heaven. In Acts 19:11-17, some unbelievers attempt to cast out demons by “the Jesus that Paul knows.” The demons replied, “We know Jesus and we know Paul, but who are you?” Then the demons beat up the unbelievers and drove them out. If one doesn’t believe and have the Spirit of God in them, they can’t cast out demons. The people described in the passage you’re discussing in Matthew 7 clearly don’t believe and don’t have the Spirit of God in them. A few chapters later (Matthew 12), in a moment that isn’t directly connected to the “Depart from me” passage, Jesus does indeed say, “And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out?” I take two possible meanings from this. One is that “your people” refers to genuine believers who worked under the Pharisees. The other thing to consider is that possibly not every Pharisee was automatically bad. One came to see Jesus at night in John 3, and to another Pharisee, Jesus said, “You are not far from the kingdom of heaven.” So to whom does Jesus refer in Matthew 7? Again, we’re simply talking about false prophets. Even in our time, there have been charlatans exposed who used the name of Jesus to deceive people, faking miracles and having the prophetic abilities of a fortune cookie. These are not people who are struggling to do right but those who intentionally mislead the flock. We may not even know who some of the fakers are yet, but God sees all and knows all, and will not be fooled on Judgment Day. For people who actually believe, we can rest assured that we don’t have to earn our salvation, and learn to grow and do good things out of love instead of fear or a false sense of obligation. I hope this helps and blesses you and the other readers, and if it doesn’t, then please forgive me, and don’t let it bother you any more. The goal is to build each other up, not tear each down. Thank you again for sharing! Be blessed and have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you! Ya, there is no threshold of how good you have to perform or how many good works are needed in order to get or stay saved, because that is not how salvation works. It's entirely by placing faith in His grace (Eph 2:8-9). I can agree to disagree. I believe there are 3 general categories of demonic personalities: some demons leave as soon as Jesus shows up, some wait until they're told to go, and some stay around and put up a fight. The man with the legion of demons, they didn't go right away. Matt 17 the disciples, who had been casting our demons in Matt 10, couldn't get this one to leave, but Jesus did. They came up against a stronger demon. Demons have different personalities (agressive, depressed, perverse, manipulative, etc) and I think the weaker ones would leave at a command in Jesus' name, even if the exorcist isn't saved. The 7 sons of Sceva messed with a stronger demon and got beat up pretty bad. So I take it as some of the Pharisees had a degree of success, and yes, some of them I'm sure knew God sincerely, but they would have been saved. These in Matt 7 claimed to do it in Jesus' name, so it either worked to some degree or they were lying, trying to get Jesus to let them in. God bless and have a great Christmas as well!
Context: the words before and after a statement in the SAME passage, clarifying what the statement means 38 Now the *just shall live by faith:* but *if any man draw back,* my soul *shall have no pleasure in him.* 39 *But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition;* but of them *that believe* to the *saving of the soul.* The just, living by faith, but , the soul who turns back to sin, is rejected. But the author of hebrews is saying true believers are not of those who return to sin, But who believe to the saving of the soul. And if that could somehow be twisted, directly before that he said 26¶ *For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,* there *remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,* 27 But a certain *fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,* which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 *Of how much sorer punishment,* suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, *who hath trodden under foot the Son of God,* and hath *counted the blood of the covenant,* wherewith he *was sanctified,* an unholy thing, and *hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?* 30 For we know him that hath said, *Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.* And again, *The Lord shall judge his people.* 31 *It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.* 6Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and *he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.* 7¶ *Unto you therefore which believe* he is precious: but *unto them which be disobedient,* the stone *which the builders disallowed,* the same *is made the head of the corner,* 8And a *stone of stumbling,* and a *rock of offence,* even to them *which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.* . 19 *Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,* The Lord *knoweth them that are his* And, *Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.* . 3And *every man* that hath this hope in him *purifieth himself, even as he is pure.* 4¶ *Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.* 5And ye know that *he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.* 6Whosoever *abideth in him sinneth not:* whosoever *sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.* 7¶Little children, *let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous,* even as he is righteous. 8 *He that committeth sin is of the devil;* for *the devil sinneth from the beginning.* For *this purpose the Son of God was manifested,* that he might *destroy the works of the devil.* 9 *Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;* for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, *because he is born of God.* 10¶ *In this the children of God are manifest,* and the children of the devil: whosoever *doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.* 11 *For this is the message* that ye heard *from the beginning,* that we should *love one another.* 23And this is his commandment, That we should *believe on the name* of his Son Jesus Christ, and *love one another,* as he *gave us commandment.* 24¶And *he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him,* and he in him. And *hereby we know that he abideth in us,* by the Spirit which he hath given us. . 1¶ *Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ* is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 *By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.* 3 *For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments:* and his commandments *are not grievous.* 4For *whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:* and *this* is the *victory* that *overcometh* the world, *even our faith.* 5 Who is *he that overcometh* the world, but *he that believeth* that *Jesus is the Son of God?* 17All unrighteousness is sin: *and there is a sin not unto death.* 18¶ *We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;* but *he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,* and that wicked one *toucheth him not.* 19¶And *we know that we are of God,* and *the whole world lieth in wickedness.* 20¶And we know that the *Son of God is come,* and *hath given us an understanding,* that *we may know him that is true,* and *we are in him that is true,* even *in his Son Jesus Christ.* This is *the true God,* and *eternal life.* 21¶Little children, *keep yourselves from idols.* Amen.

Greetings, The central idea in the beginning of Revelation chapter 3 can be found in verse 2. The context is clear. The question is can you accept Jesus’ words as the truth? Revelation 3:2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. He is telling them that their deeds are not perfect before his GOD. This is the same theme throughout the 7 letters to the 7 churches. Generally speaking he is calling them to repent or face destruction. Thus, everything that you have put forth against Jesus is a strawman. This entire thing has nothing to do with being forsaken as you put it. The seven letters are an example of the Judgement that Jesus warned everyone about. If you disagree with Revelation Chapter 3:2 then you are opposing the words of Jesus. This is the same doctrine that Jesus preached in the flesh throughout his earthly ministry and fits perfectly with Matthew 16:27 Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. >Jesus warned us about easy belief-ism.< Matthew 7:13-14 13 "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Rev 3:2 - So you're saved by works? Eph 2:8-9 is pretty clear that we aren't saved by works, lest any man should boast. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us" Titus 3:5. Jesus wants works from His children, as any good parent wants their children to do what they're told, but they don't save us. Otherwise you have a works-based salvation. That's the strawman, thinking your works save you. Jesus IS the narrow gate (John 10:9). When you've entered by Him (faith in Christ saves, 1 Cor 15:1-4, Gal 3:26, John 1:12, etc), you're saved.
@myflourishingfam Works based salvation is only a negative concept to Christians whose god is Paul. You are tearing down Jesus for Paul and you are bending all of the Apostles teachings for the sake of Paul. Just be honest with yourself. The gospel was already established before Paul came on the scene and Paul admits on three separate occasions that it is his own Gospel referring to it as my gospel. My trust is in the words of The Law Prophets and Messiah and his Taught ones.

Great videos 👍
Context Context Context !!!! Hallelujah
Never reads the context and every video 'explains' why we shouldn't ever believe what Gods word says. 1¶ *Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ* is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 *By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.* 3 *For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments:* and his commandments *are not grievous.* 4For *whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:* and *this* is the *victory* that *overcometh* the world, *even our faith.* 5 Who is *he that overcometh* the world, but *he that believeth* that *Jesus is the Son of God?* . 24¶Let that therefore *abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning.* If *that which ye have heard from the beginning* shall *remain in you,* ye also *shall continue in the Son,* and *in the Father.* 25And *this is the promise* that he hath promised us, even *eternal life.* 26¶ *These things have I written* unto you *concerning them that seduce you.* 27But *the anointing* which ye have received of him *abideth in you,* and ye *need not that any man teach you:* but as *the same anointing teacheth you of all things,* and *is truth,* and is *no lie,* and *even as it hath taught you,* ye shall *abide in him.* 28¶And now, little children, *abide in him;* that, when he shall appear, *we may have confidence,* and *not be ashamed before him at his coming.* 29If ye know that *he is righteous,* ye know that *every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.* . And *hereby we know that he abideth in us,* by the Spirit which he hath given us. . 17All unrighteousness is sin: *and there is a sin not unto death.* 18¶ *We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;* but *he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,* and that wicked one *toucheth him not.* 19¶And *we know that we are of God,* and *the whole world lieth in wickedness.* 20¶And we know that the *Son of God is come,* and *hath given us an understanding,* that *we may know him that is true,* and *we are in him that is true,* even *in his Son Jesus Christ.* This is *the true God,* and *eternal life.* 21¶Little children, *keep yourselves from idols.* Amen. . 2And *he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.* 3¶And *hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.* 4He that saith, *I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.* 5But *whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.* 6 *He that saith he abideth in him* ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 7¶Brethren, I write *no new commandment unto you,* but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. *The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.*
So you'd say the entire church of 1 Corinthians was hellbound because of the sin in it? It's full of every sin in the book just about, yet Paul affirmed they were saved (1 Cor 1:2, 7-8) and that they'd ALL go in the rapture (1 Cor 15:51-52). 1 John is written as a test of fellowship, to know whether you're truly walking in fellowship with Jesus AS a believer, or not. 1 John 1:3-4 "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full." That's the purpose statement of the book, to bring joy and fellowship. Fellowship isn't the same as salvation. A saved person is called to fellowship. He affirms at the end who's saved (1 John 5:13).
Thank you for sharing this; I know it’s a problem for many believers. I was once concerned about it, and it wasn’t until a few years ago that I received the proper interpretation, after many years as a Christian
Ya, not enough pastors/teachers discern what's happening in this passage. God bless!
It helps a lot, thank you.
Isnt Judas someone who didnt endure until the end?
Judas never believed
@ I was curious but I understand what you mean
Jesus knew who believed, and who didn't and who would betray him. Judas was never saved.
Yes, it's interesting that Judas had enough faith to follow a stranger who he had never met. He left his family friends and job to follow Jesus for three and a half years. They didn't get to eat in nice restaurants or even sleep in motels. But Judas never could let go of his greed and it was the death of him. Take care
Judas never believed. In John 6:70 Jesus referred to him as a devil.
Do you know about rightly dividing the word of truth? Do you know about the revelation of the mystery given to Paul? Do you know that some books in the new testament are describing what happened in the old testament under the law? Do you know not to mix law with grace or you will have neither?
He was speaking to the Jews in the time of Jacob's trouble.
Rev 2 and 3 are 7 letters to 7 churches, not to the 12 tribes of Israel.
Yep everyone who believes on his name and his names not jesus christ John 5:43
Awesome video! The inspired version gives a little bit better clarity showing Jesus said, you never knew me.
I'm not talking about this guy but love those evil ones who go around quoting our of context or give opinions based on their opinion or cause fear. If anyone gets blotted out it's you. God doesn't save knowing you can unsaved yourself since everyone would get blotted out. Art thous perfect oh pious one? Good you don't need saviour.
Works trusters will be told to depart.
