I hate mussels. They’re such a giant amount of work for such an unsatisfying amount of meat. And I’ve yet to have some without gritty sand being in my mouth.
Soak them in heavily salted water, will force them to spew out the dirt and sand.

Although this recipe is nice but it is not even close to a Marinière, unfortunately. A moule marinière is basically : shallots, garlic, the moule and then deglaze with white wine and parsley and this is it...
We don't care. Nobody's here to fact-check Nigella except you. If she tells me it's a cheeseburger, that's fine.
