I completely understand what he was singing about. That numbness is the hardest thing to get past. I always suppress my emotions. I can get through a lot without feeling it. The only problem is it always comes out in one way or another.
It Is great that you are hearing Three days grace for the first time. They are an amazing band but they have been around since 1992. Hope you like them... if so they have several albums out.
@ball boy jones.. Been a huge fan of Candlebox , love many of the 90s Blind Melon, Gin Blossoms, STP, Bush, Temple Of The Dog ect..thanks for the info :)
This is my baby girls favorite band, she's 15 not a baby but my baby. Of my 4 kids she has her taste of music most like mine, we love to hear guitar and drums because that is music. I don't go so heavy in music but I guess this is how my grandparents felt when my dad belted out Led Zeppelin in Morocco on the Army base.
This song showed me that they still have chops without Adam Grontier (now lead singer of St. Asonia). Mark has that gritty voice and the rhythm guitar grinds the beat
Playlist!!!! Not putting me to sleep tonight! My Daddy's a good old southern man. This will give you an idea of the kind of man he is. The Sunday after my parents got married they showed up at church the preacher said "I didn't expect to see you today ". My Daddy ask why he because you just got married last night. Daddy "We want to start our life together right.". So now you have a general idea of how I was raised. But my was so opened minded about religion. My Daddy told me last time he read his Bible he couldn't find where it said Heaven was going to be divided into section based on your religion. So they never cared where we attended church as long as we were in church. LOL my Daddy is also 84 and my Momma is 80. If we want to see them we call in advance to make sure they're going to be home. They're on the go all the time
But first could be, zombie. Now everyone is all hyped over the bad wolves version. They do it great and i love the song by them but to really get whats going on in the song you need to watch the original by the cranberrys. I highly recommend either version!
I was molested by my other brother for 8 years. I was assaulted at University and because I had been out to a club and drank beer, I thought it had to be my fault, because it happened twice. These Kavanaugh hearings are cutting bandages open over wounds I thought that I had dealt with and put them in the "closed for business box". I was wrong. I think I will die having never been loved by anyone, another human. Christ loves me. I wish I was a machine so someone could turn it off. The pain, the isolation with just my brother and friends who have lives that I hear from occasionally. Whatever God's plan is for me, it's not fun, it's not guaranteed to be smooth sailing, I know that, and I just have to accept it. But, that is becoming more and more difficult. I know He won't give me more than I can carry, but crawling across broken glass is what my life has always felt like. I'm just being real. Things could be worse. You know when they say comedians are depressed, they want to be loved so they make people laugh. I've always been that way. Except I feel like I can say how I really feel with y'all. It's an awesome song. We have different interpretations of it. I just want to be turned off like a machine. But, I have to take care of my brother. Great review. PEACE OUT & GOD BLESS.
@@Modern-Renaissance-Man Sure, it might help someone else dealing with similar problems. My doctors are all aware of every thing and I am on a really good anti-depressant, some days are just extra hard. But, without my faith, taking all the medications in the world, I wouldn't stand a chance. When breathing is painful, Jesus is the only name I call. And, I am reading about The Gershon Program.

Best part about this song to not only does it have a great driving sound, it has a deep meaning in the lyrics. That's what makes a good song to me.
Listen to this full volume with a really good set of headphones.....it'll knock you right off your chair, absolutely love it!

Adams voice was the focal point of this band tho, now I feel like it’s more of the drums and guitar and the vocals have kind of taken a back seat
