- I am preparing a small project that will involve some cars for Formule Dé (Aka Formula D) and in the process I have found a designer who makes tiny versions of cars and vehicles for HEAT and Formule Dé with a 3D printer.
His name is Ángel and not only has F1 cars from various eras, he also makes Indycar, trucks.... And he sells them! You can find it on his blog: formula-d-game.blogspot.com/
The examples in this video correspond to models of the 2023 F1 season, a few that Ángel was kind enough to send me so I could share them with you.
Formule Dé is already a classic game, with its first edition in 1991. A very fun and exciting game that has been reissued several times, incorporating to the primitive F1 other types of cars and characters, as well as a very large catalog of circuits. Asmodée re-released it again (last in 2022) under the name Formula D. Here you have more information, in the BGG (I have taken from here some images for the video):

Excellent painting as always, I love the details of the colouring on the tires!
Thank you! The bad thing is having to change the color if you change the hardness of the tire...
These are incredible models, prints, and paint jobs! Absolutely fantastic work, I do hope you are proud of them! I have Angel will release some gen 3 or gen 2 FE cars, I think they would look amazing in this style
Sorry for taking so long to reply, the comments had been hidden in this video and I didn't realize it until now. They are very beautiful models, when I received them I was showing them to everyone as if they had given me a diamond ring. I don't know what Angel has plans, but he has already made a lot of models and he is adding more... take a look at his blog: formula-d-game.blogspot.com/ and thank you for your comment!
Looks like a great game and its good to see some models made to use at the game's scale.
Sorry for taking so long to reply, the comments had been hidden in this video and I didn't realize it until now. The game is quite chaotic, simple and a lot of fun. The nice thing about these miniatures is that they look as good on the board as they do in the display case. Cheers!
I remember this game! Enoy!
Yes, one of those games that are thematic references. Thank you very much for your comment!
So very cool! My father and nephew are huge F1 fans. I haven't returned to the circuit for quite a while. Great paint jobs and I bet they were fun to do too.. Did you use a magnifier?
Sorry for taking so long to reply, the comments had been hidden in this video and I didn't realize it until now. Need more to challenge your relatives to a game? XD It's always fun to paint with such contrasting colors. I had cataract surgery a few months ago and since then I need to use magnifying glasses. I used to be able to paint with my naked eye thanks to my myopia, but I have quickly adapted to the magnifying glasses for painting. Thank you for your comment!
