The chip is pre-programmed but I think's it from the Arduino so it would be nice if we could see the code. Anyone who knows what they're doing could then tweak the code and re-program it.
if it is arduino it is open source
and that means that it is supposed to be shared
+Mrvideosandgames I don't know what it is specifically, but it is possible to program your own easily using PICAXE. they even provide a Simon DIY PICAXE kit on their store too.

I didn't even know that there are momentary switches with built-in LED lights! Too bad there is no way to get them easily in Finland, I would have really needed those for some other projects.
