Screwing the new bit to the in the back is a great tip
Appreciated your video and method. You paced well and made it sound easy. In future videos, give yourself more light. Again thank you!
Cheers, concise as usual. Trying to remove kids handle bar scratches/gouges from wall. Now see where I've been blending it in wrong.
Many ways to skin a cat but that’s a very good thorough job right there.
👍
It's just like carving a pumpkin ❤
Fine idea to put in backing strips Bill.
Thank you!! Because I was about to do some patch work with the patch lol.
Hi I love your channel I am not much of a social media person but I love home activities and I am trying to build my own entryway to my dining room just some shelves something nice
Excellent video! Pros make everything look so easy...but I might be able to do this! lol.
You can do it 👍
Is this a DIY channel or a magician channel?
Hey Bill, thanks for very helpful video! Would you recommend any particular joint compound for concrete walls? I used Sika wide crack filler so far, tho I'm after a bigger and more convenient tub...thank you kindly!
Bravo, well done!
👏👏👏👏
Good show chap
Thanks for your video's. I've learnt a lot. Would like to see you do one on hanging a TV.
This was great!
Nice video enjoyed learning technique
I need a Bill in my life 😅
So u can keep putting holes in the walls? Lol
Very intelligent
We love a good hole in the wall
Thank you for this video
Damn good job, had me worried in the beginning 👍
Great video
Thank you, such an excellent tutorial! Can you tell us what kind of sandpaper you're using?
120 grit 👍
Can't really tell the finish results with that lighting. Any tips on what to use to fill up the hole instead of using a patch (as the metal shows through, sanding just exposes it) ? The hole is just under 3" and about 3" in depth. Its a small door knob hole. DryDex stuff just isn't cutting it. Thank you.
Learn from my mistakes:
-watch for chipping/peeling when you are cutting out your hole in the wall.
-when screwing the support wood into the wall, watch that you don’t over screw and create a new, larger hole.
-when screwing the patch to the wood back supports, beware of the whole assembly pushing through and falling into your wall.
Basically every single step of this failed when I tried.
Nice job cutting up the wood flooring.
Nice
Nice job, Bill. 👍👍
What about fibre cement? Can. you make a video on how to fix a hole on them?
It’s on my to do list 👍
How often do you use a multi tool? Seems like a good investment.
Very often, it’s the type of tool which has many uses and gets you out of trouble 👍
Would you say it has multi…ple uses??
Question is....
Did you enjoy smashing the door handle through the wall just for this demo 😉😂😂
Lol, it was like that when I got there 👍
@@billshowto I've tried that line on the misses a few times haha
Yea have to replace my wall with the same problem have an 37 year old crack head step son that likes to tear up shit an then run up an down the road talking loud with dirty clothes in an trash bag
All the Kyles watching 👁️👄👁️
European walls can't relate
Has anyone in the world ever thought that if it burns on the inside of a door with a knob, it is impossible to open the door because the skin `melts` off the hand!
So nice to see a handyman that knows how to do this correctly. The amount of bullshit American videos on the subject is brain numbing. Only thing that we do differently is is to glue the batons inside for additional strength but not really needed, as shown
This is too professional to be DIY...
Maybe you're incompetent? Perhaps look for a quick fix that will get ruined again if professionalism is your concern
