IECO definitely could have been a Rotary/Dover distributor. That motor sounds amazing! I'm amazed but glad they finally fixed it. And what strange floor labeling. G, 5, and 7 for 3 floors?
I rode an elevator like this, made by the same company, same model this week. Can you open the exterior door while the elevator is in a different floor? In tempted to buy I don’t feel safe doing so. Just to see what the emptiness is like.
Awesome video! Pretty rare to see an elevator with a manual door in what seems to be a parking garage with interesting numbering in the elevator. Also, this is one of the earliest Dovers (IECO is probably a 3rd party and you mentioned Rotary which was what Dover originally was before 1955. More here:elevation.wikia.com/wiki/Dover_Corp.) Anyways, I hope you have a happy and safe holiday!! :)
Well it was probably still your last chance to see it even when theyve fixed it because it mightve been replaced well it was probably for the better because it was defunct for a while
This is a pretty good video, it's great that they fixed it!
Damn that motor sounds good! I wish that we had motors like that in the UK
That is an amazing elevator and motor!
It's dark
Damn what a motor!!!
Wow! No mod? Nice! & what a motor!
3:15 NICE MOTOR!
love it do a part 2
Wow I can't believe that they fixed it!
Amazing motor!
Is it still there? or did it get ripped out.

the floors are labeled to match the actual building, but the parking structure skips some floors
Jowevator 3219 Ah, ok.
In Europe the ground floor is level 0
I never rode this elevator before!
Nice.....just inspected an identical IECO at an apartment building in San Carlos, CA. Installed 1965, runs well.
Can you tell me what building it is in? I ask because I like vintage elevators.
Where do I find it
That’s how these elevators are. They have these all over Europe, some even without inner doors
What was this modded into? Please do a video of it after the mod. Also, you should have asked to have the relay controller too.
was it modded?
The floor buttons only work when the outside door is closed. So you have to press the button while you're in the elevator and the outer door is closed
Great... a 1957 IECO looks and functions just as good as a 1994 IFMA. Talk about technology, Romania...

You can’t, the doors have hard powered magnets that locks it in place
What do you mean by red tagged? Is it gone?

I agree that it is likely IECO was a Rotary/Dover distributor.
What does red tagged mean?
MallGuy89 when an elevator has failed inspection more than once it can no longer be operated until it’s fixed
Jowevator 3219 Oh, that's what it is.
why was it red tagged?
Why wouldn’t it be?
What caused it to be broken? Also I am very surprised at how old that is.
I've been there before
What does red flagged mean
Meaning it failed inspection. It can't run.
Machine room 5:53
Wow that person with the Mercedes has been working for years you can see he parks at the same place too
The motor sounds like a thunderbolt siren blower
Riding with the lights off must be so freaky.
I use Splice
THIS COULD EASILY BE MADE GLASS
Could’ve been made scenic but this elevator is OLD AF so idk if passenger elevators made during that time were thought through to be made scenic
Epiq
=) i love it
What’s there now?
Well it was probably still your last chance to see it even when theyve fixed it because it mightve been replaced well it was probably for the better because it was defunct for a while
8:43 WTF happened no wonder this thing brakes all the time
Liftboy 2004 I just overshoots the top floor.
Bad leveling is not uncommon for old elevators.
WestCoast Elevators I never realised!!
I hope this doesn't get modded
Liftboy 2004 I would say since they just fixed it it is safe, at least for a while.
if the elevator is broken, dont fix it, mod it, even though new elevators suck, still mod it
Sounds like a typical building owner
