I love how halo lighting seems to be making a comeback. Also, I noticed how the permit showed a temporary operating permit... wondering if the "Halloween car" failed an inspection and was shut down. Otherwise, I can't imagine taking a car out of service just to make a Halloween decoration... even though it does look cool...
@@Jowevator3219 Really? Wow! I mean, I get it... and I really like the display... but I kinda don't get taking a car out of service and inconvenience tenants just to do the display...
@@Dana_Danarosana Always make an appointment online and pick one that has a tendency of being a bit more quiet. I always go to Simi Valley DMV instead of Canoga Park for that very reason, despite the extra distance. Worth it. This system entirely could be improved still. I'm with ya there.
why is california so strict on lift codes these days? man i wish these were touch sensitive lol man it feels like everything in CA regarding regulations is strict nowadays lol
Wait; are OTIS Series 3 rare over there as well? They certainly are in NZ - there are only two known installations over here. One of them has been partially modernised on the inside, and you’re not allowed to film the other one as it is in a government building (literally).
I suspect the one you think is 'partially modernised' was modded that way, using the Series 3 lanterns but other buttons. There is a similar mod in my country.
Exactly, Series 3 lanterns outside but Everbright buttons & generic indicator inside. The elevator wasn’t actually even a Series 3 in the first place - originally Express modded by OTIS with Series 3 fixtures!
@@t3224.elevators_nz What I meant is that it is a late-2000s mod that only has the series 3 lanterns and uses other components. In other words they were modded that way. I guess it is a similar concept to the 'Series 4 Luxury' in the US.
You're welcome for me finding these!!! Glad they're still original!!!
Nice find dude
WOAH those are amazing!

They put it on IS for the display lol

@@Dana_Danarosana Yea...I don't get why people do half of the things they do
@@Jowevator3219 Tell me about it! I just spent an HOUR in line at DVS renewing my driver's license... There has got to be a better way of doing that!

Florida is worse lol
Vancity Elevators I agree. 100% Correct.
I think they buttons sticking out help people who are blind to feel where the button is better
And also because touch sensitive buttons aren’t tactile
1:37 lmao 😂 😂😂
Was this taken around Halloween? Someone said trick or treating.
Was it actually broken or did they intentionally put it out of service for the display?
intentional

“Uh excuse me what were you doing in the elevators in that parking garage.”
Give them credit, they even made an elevator out of order cool (if it was the case).
Welcome back to the Luxor! Jk.....
Yo don’t be calling these buttons ugly that’s not nice
