My Liger guitar gets here in May, can't wait! I've taken it upon myself to recreate his full rig, MIDI and all, just to get it over with so I can stop buying stuff, lol. I've gotten really good at all the weirdness between the songs over the years, but your videos are truly helping me fill in the gaps with the right things to balance it all out. Thank you so so much!

How far in advance did you order? I'm considering ordering a Deadbolt but the site currently shows it as preorder. Just wondering how soon I should get my order in. Thanks.

@@wolfpac1970 I could not agree more, and at something like 1/10th the price of what Jerry paid, or something close to that.. I can't even believe they are available to buy, so yeah, I've got no problem waiting.

Why did you make this video? This guitar is all I can think about... Now that you've had this guitar for 7 months, do you think any of the other upgrades would be a good idea (brass nut, tuners, DiMarzio 2's, and bridge)? With them the price does get up there and wasn't sure if these were necessary or worth it. Thanks for the great work.

How much do you .think the ebony fretboard contributes the airy feel of the neck? My Dockstar Koa's ebony fretboard has spoiled me. It's now a bit difficult to play my other guitars, as the rosewood and maple boards now feel like a tiny bit of a hinderance.

Why did you choose the pH tail piece over the stop tail. Was it simply it's aesthetic appeal or a tonal difference or some other reason? The stop tail is height adjustable and I am concerned that the string angle down to the pH tail piece might be too severe. Please enlighten me.

Not everyone is made of money, but you should have had the brass nut installed. Also, did you upgrade the pickups to D'marzio super 2's?

  • @jonahguitarguy

So someone should mention that yes indeed it's a copy of Jerry's guitar but we should credit the original builder and company Alembic. Probably the only company that was building a laminated or multi wood very organic looking instrument at that time. Plus the very complex wiring scheme.

Actually Based on Stevan Cripe guitar who based his design after Doug Irwin. Alembics guitars used to only use pickup till they started using Irwin’s designs

Funny you say "comments section" after the answer is 42, since the answer to everything being 42 is the ascii for the asterisk which was the comment in Apple Basic which means that the answer to everything is actually just a comment subject to your own interpretation.

Ok seriously I haven't learned one thing watching this elementary drivel. You should be ashamed for arming the youth of tomorrow with what could be quite possibly the greatest learning system ever. See what I did there ....started salty lol but really you are great, I could do without that Tosh.0 guy that plays with you every now and then. And btw Phish's Rift and Petrichor were unworldly this week.
