I think this stand is great, now you might want to consider moving the entire placement of the ipad up by about 3 inches, so when you're drawing near the bottom of the display your wrist doesn't have to bend.
Nice job, I wish I could buy the legs for the stand separately, I made my own board for a samsung tablet but no legs. Anybody has any ideas or should I just buy this one for the legs?

Thank you for the kind words! If you plan on drawing for long periods of time, I would say it is absolutely necessary. Otherwise you will probably start developing some amount of back pain if you are hunched over most of the time. It is NOT necessary to buy a really expensive one. I have reviewed plenty of other stands and they are generally between $20-$50, this one being the most expensive. I have always thought the other ones were overpriced so I wouldn't really recommend those to anyone.

I wonder if it’s worth it to get this or just a regular table easel from like Michael’s
I was wondering that too. I guess something like this gives the back some breathing space so it won't get too hot?
