Amazing gameplay. Nostalgic. There is a way you cannot loose with Bullet in the first two races of second season. You use automatic transmission and try to loose less speed in the corners. You can easily pass the Bullet in 4th lap. From third race onwards Bullet’s AI will become less like other racers. This way you can complete the entire second season with team Madonna.

I won at Brazil last week, but I have no idea how I did it! That hairpin kills me. I almost always beat Tyrant, but rarely finish higher than fifth. If I can figure out what I'm doing wrong, I can beat Madonna in the first two rounds and play the rest of the game with a decent car.

Loved it but I was absolutely horrible. I used to challenge Orchis I think was the team name, and struggled just to beat him. Racing games have never been my forte, except maybe Wipeout on the PS1, was good at that one.

Its not much, before race do some pratice in warmup, usually fez curves are dangerous and need brake some seconds before. Using gear 7 your car will be very fast. Some tracks are good for full speed, and fez curves
It was actually possible to beat the cheat G. Ceara. You needed to dump the 7 speed gearbox in favour of the automatic (!). It was exceedingly difficult but you could close up on the sod using that, then pass or hit him. You might not finish first, but the super cheat speed (tm) would break for the rest of the race. Do that twice, you could stay at the top team :)
It's possible to beat Ceara on 7 gearbox, you need not go over a specific speed (something between 420 and 434km/h). Somewhere someone shared the trick and it works so well
Wait is this the same game where in the 2nd season, one of the opponents you would drive against would be faster than you and no matter how fast you drive he always beat you? Or was that the Senna Genesis game?
What is the trick to survive a hairpin properly if you don't go at maximum speed? I often total the car. It feels like the turning is easier the faster I go, opposite logic :D
Probably my favourite and definitely most played racing game on the Mega Drive, by a loooong way. If I have one complaint on this playthrough at least, going for the Madonna car straight away takes away a lot of the fun of the game. I mean it's not hard. Also makes it boring as you just get challenged from the Firenze driver every race. I always work my way up through the teams to be one of the top cars by the end of the season. I have my own set path that I have done countless times. I do May for rounds 1 and 2, Losel for rounds 3 and 4, Tyrant for rounds 5 and 6, Blanche for rounds 7 and 8, Bestowal for rounds 9 and 10, Millions for rounds 11 and 12, Firenze for rounds 13 and 14, then beat the Madonna car in the last two rounds to earn it at the end of the first season. I love doing it that way as a lot of the cars handle very differently. I still think the Millions car is probably my favourite in the whole game tbh.
A disappointing arcade port (graphics wise) that is actually a better game in the end. Same thing with Shadow Dancer. The Genny port is such a better game than arcade original.

G. Ceara can be beat, it's just extremely hard to do. There are YT videos of people beating him.
I always loved hitting the flag man on the finish line and watching him fly away to orbit.

I had this game as a kid. It took me a while to figure out the rival aspect but once i did, i quickly got the fastest car and beat the game.

Had the cheat on the action replay cartridge, that you could complete the entire game, before the computer cars had even left the starting grid!!
