Ok, I tried it. It worked just like you said...but what do you do when you run out of natural hair? I tried splitting the 2pcs of fake hair into 3, but it didnt look as uniform, and my daughter's natural hair was sticking out at the bottom. Ack!

My hair is VERY short and natural. What I did was blow it out as straight as i could and made sure to use jam on my roots and comb it through my hair. Then as I braided in the weave I put jam on my fingers to smooth out my hair as I braided down. Also as I braid I try to keep my natural hair on the underside kind of tucking it as I went down the braid.
Yes this is how I braid my hair , only difference is i use yarn to braid bc for me I can grip it better and I have a twa (4c) the kankelon hair I can't do it . I will try again
