Thank you for this detailed video! My babygirl is mixed and wanted some twists with added purple hair, and as her mama I wanted to make sure I could make it happen for her. This has helped so much that I feel confident enough to do her hair!

With this video I should be able to do it! Thank you for the simple step by step instructions! Y'all wish me luck!!!😉

Practice makes perfect. I started out and doing my own hair would take days. Now I've gotten it down to 8 hours! Keep practicing, you'll learn what hand movements work for you. Make sure to stretch your hands too so they down cramp and you can go faster

girl same i’m 13 and now starting to find a passion for doing hair. it just came to me so easy. little tips o can give you is when your braiding don’t put too much hair grease because it can become hard to grip and then make sure when your braiding gripping everything. and i used to struggle with braiding faster too cuz i used to get knots in the braid. but you go girl 🤍

I started around your age and while I could do all kinds of braids, speed was a problem for me too. What I did was I would time myself. I would see how long it takes me to do a style or even a section of hair and I would practice working faster to beat that time. In regards to tightness, that just comes with time and hand strength. It’s so nice to see that you’re doing what you can to help your family and I can tell you have passion. Just keep working hard and you’ll go far 💛
