Woah, Dan's voice sounds so different here, like... more powerful than in his NSP songs. I love it.
Well to be fair this wasn't a comedy band, there was genuine emotion in these songs, and even some NSP songs portray these kinds of emotions

He has said before that I is really hard for him because Peter broke the band up before Danny thought they were ready. He more or less broke his heart. He spoke about it in the Game Grumps interviews. If he wants to, he will.

Alright, listen. I know that Skyhill is getting a LOT more attention since Danny mentioned it on Game Grumps. and I also know that a lot of people are only liking it BECAUSE its Danny. I looked past the fact that its Danny and dear lord I really like this band. its calm and epic and so amazing. I'm glad he mentioned it, because if I had found it on my own, I wouldve fallen in love equally as fast :)

This album, along with the help of all my amazing friends and family is what helped me to overcome my anxiety problems. If it wasn't for all of this, I wouldn't be here now.
When I first heard this song, it was late at night during June of 2014, I was nervous thinking his was gonna be bad since it was during 2007. When I heard this I was feeling so many different feelings, I was basically intoxicated with dopamine, it gave me chills, goosebumps, tears, it was amazing and I bought the album and listened to it over 200 times in three months. After that I sadly stopped listening to it for a year and got back into it, I don't listen to it as much as I used to since I started listening to much more music, but I'm glad I found this when basically no one would knew about this. The experience I had with this album was the most amazing experience I had in my entire life of listening to music.
One of those songs that gets stuck in my head for days but I don't mind because I enjoy it that much.
This album is so many things to me, but mostly it’s road tripping in Canada, Edmonton to Vancouver, the metaphor and lack of clarity of lyrics means you can make them mean what you need them to be, so many feels as it was definitely a time in my life, from the UK
Skyhill music always makes me tear up or cry but in a good way....Dan's voice just has so much emotion and instrumental bits are always so moving~! Great music to chill to and relax

I love Skyhill so much. Even though I didn't know this band it still hits that pre-2010's nostalgia. It feels like staying up late and listening to the local radios 'The Bitter Sky Tonight' show on Wednesday nights.
This song gets better with every listen. I've found myself singing it at work, hopefully not too loudly, because I don't have Dan's golden voice
