Looks great. I went nuts with mine as well. I placed a 6.5t in it and gees.. I have been playing with Chrome paint and plan my next shell in it to match the baldre stickers better
Hey Keith, the car looks killer mate, Maybe try a set of black dish wheels with gold wheel nuts! Maybe lower the wing so it's level with the top of the shock tower mate, but it's definitely stealth 👍
The thumbnail doesn't do it justice, what a beauty this is. I don't usually like dark and silver schemes but you've nailed it with the combination of flat and shine finishes. Top job!
Looks killer! Stick the Super Rooster in it Keith for old times sake and the T5 to start with and then after that hit some Brushless crazy fun! Cheers James.
Oh my gosh. That looks f**king awesome Keith. Love it! I like the grey wheels, but i feel dish wheels would look great instead of the star dish. Im sure I’ve seen grey dish wheels on RCJaz or somewhere. Anyway, great job, never heard of a baldre before this, so thanks for sharing
I love the look of it!! It turned out super cool and I love the mix of flat and shiny! It looks really mean and ready to take flight! I don't blame you for using the Baldre body on there and I agree the blue metallic decals are outstanding!
That body and rig looks sick in that color combo all its missing Is a little Red light going back and forth on the front and Name it Kit! And it will be ready for what ever ur ready for!
Looks great, Keith. Great to see the finished buggy! I love the contrasting parts on the bodyshell. There's a few bits the RRR could have had added such as the TRF 501x belt tensioner, sway bars and alloy steering bridge. You could try some dished wheels with a vinyl wrap or the DF03 wheels.
Definitely looks really cool Keith! Definitely looks like a car you don’t wanna mess around with! I know Tamiya did the black Star dish wheels but only on the special edition TT02B like the black metallic and the purple and green!
Keith wow, that thing looks so stealth bomber it's unbelievable, sometimes less is more and believe me that car is more!!, I'd love that chassis as its so different to what I'm used to,but there isn't any in the UK 😢. Love your videos mate 👊, would love to see this one running bro 💯👍
Nice work as always my man. I hear you about cranking out kits. Though with me it's more working on cars I already have atm. I was in my shed beavering away on a couple of chassis and my Dad walked past, he said into my shed, you work on those cars all the time, I never see you running them! I had to say, yeah well I enjoy working on them....
Awesome car, looks awesome Keith. I will build my NIB one I have but I’m waiting for the 54537 chassis to be rere’d. Or one to fall from heaven….. looks great. The Baldre body fits like a glove. Those rims look awesome on it.
Look into if you can gear it differently too, might not need the craziest overvolted motor if you can mess around with the gearing, espessially if you do short runs, the motor wont overheat that badly anyway vs a 5 minute heat.
I for 1 thinks that's a pretty good idea turning it into a speed run car👍I would like to see how those ESC's stack up against today Electronics. If u can make 1 video running and switching out 3-4 set-ups and that way the veiwers don't have to wait another week to see the results of every one u decide to compare u also need like a hobbywing 1080 so u can put 3's on it. Because after u get the speed bug ur going to want to see how it goes with just a little more power. Or especially if u almost reach ur goal speed with 2s and it just won't go anymore unless u do some gear stopping. That 3s is going to get u home😂
Lol.. I wrote that comment before I heard the part about u wanting to run 3s👍but u know how I do it. As soon as I think of a question I pause videos and go at the comments😂
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but those wheels don’t do the buggy justice . I would recommend black dish wheels if you want the stealth look . Paint job is nice but decals are too Much. I would put much much smaller ones personally . Would have been interesting to see it with the kit yellow Wheels on as I think as it would have looked amazing wit that black body . Lastly a carbon battery strap with black or gun metal thumbscrews would be the cherry on the cake .
I don’t know if you seen my latest rrr kieth?. I took a gpm alloy db01 steering set and steering link and send it to be reanodised jet black. It looks amazing abd is even smoother than the standard parts believe it or not . If you are interested in doing yours I could maybe get you a Tamiya steering to be done. I will just have to source another alloy gpm alloy steering bar. . I have been meaning to make a video showing the car I will try and do it this weekend so I can show You what I mean. I also had a blue alloy motor mount redone in black .
Really like this. Looks menacingly epic
Thank you
That’s phenomenal Keith. Love the stealth look
love the gun metal black theme great rig as always. Thanks for sharing... 👍
Looks great, the stealth look fits it perfectly 👍🏻
Thank you.
Very happy with the results.
That looks absolutely badass!
Love it. 👍👍
Very creative paint combination. Great job!
Looks great. I went nuts with mine as well. I placed a 6.5t in it and gees.. I have been playing with Chrome paint and plan my next shell in it to match the baldre stickers better
That sounds awesome. I just ordered the surepass 3650 5900kv with 100a esc. Believe it is 3.5t. It either makes it or it doesn’t. Lol
Hey Keith, the car looks killer mate, Maybe try a set of black dish wheels with gold wheel nuts! Maybe lower the wing so it's level with the top of the shock tower mate, but it's definitely stealth 👍
Thanks. Definitely going to lower the wing. Appreciate the suggestions.

Fantastic job! The color combination is superb! The Transpeed esc and motor combo looks stunning! I would love those for my DB01!
Thats one awsome looking buggy, i think i need to get one and get it on track 🤔 need to move some cars on 1st to pay for it 1st 😂
Lol
I totally get it. So many cars to try and they all cost a pile of dough.
@@rcicons4915 yeah, but this is one to try i think 😁
Great looking thing 😎
It’s a body I’ve never had but with the colour you’ve gone for, it really shows off its lines and curves 😎👊🏻
Thanks buddy

That is a great balance of flat and shiny. Then with the shiny decals - it really pops. Looking forward to seeing what the top end will be.
Great job Keith, I really like the stealthy look. It’s awesome.

Thank you. A 1mm shim worked on these although there are always options. Appreciate the support.
Hi from Yorkshire England nice shell cool paint 👍👍👍
Absolutely stunning! 👍
Love the video. Great tip using the DS wing as a guide. We use that on my next wing.
Just needs some black dish wheels and then you will have the DB01 night rider. ‘Kit’. Looking forward to your speed runs!
Body looks super stealth!
Definitely looks really cool Keith! Definitely looks like a car you don’t wanna mess around with! I know Tamiya did the black Star dish wheels but only on the special edition TT02B like the black metallic and the purple and green!
Came out great! Nice job!

Cool build 👍
Glenn and yourself knocked it out of the park this weekend
Very impressive

Thanks Jason. Your dream db01 will come to completion some day my friend.
Look into if you can gear it differently too, might not need the craziest overvolted motor if you can mess around with the gearing, espessially if you do short runs, the motor wont overheat that badly anyway vs a 5 minute heat.
Definitely going to play with the gearing. There are options for sure.
Looks mint!
I think chrome / shiny alloys would look perfect on this! (I'm late seeing this but I like what you did)
Beautiful kit
Don't cut body post..Just use Velcro imo
As always It came out great man!!! Meanmachine 😅

Wow just wow stellar job Keith 👍are these chassis kits limited like 1/1000 our something like that ? thanks for sharing
With the right motor and gearing you could hit 100 plus
Hey Stewart Mac has gotten his Tamiyas to do 150 +.
Great looking shell Keith it looks fast already 😂 have you got some black df03 wheels they might set it off
Unreal
They need to bring back the dyna storm.
I'm sure you going to keep those original decals.
Lol.. I wrote that comment before I heard the part about u wanting to run 3s👍but u know how I do it. As soon as I think of a question I pause videos and go at the comments😂

Much. I would put much much smaller ones personally . Would have been interesting to see it with the kit yellow
Wheels on as I think as it would have looked amazing wit that black body . Lastly a carbon battery strap with black or gun metal thumbscrews would be the cherry on the cake .
It looks great but for me it needs more aggressive tyres to make it mean lol
You may need to add a wing up front to keep downforce.
Where did you find that kit at. I would like to but one myself! Please lmk where you got the kit from thank you
Is it possible that you could go and find yourself a trf mo3 RS I'm sure it's pretty rear.
You need to get some brushless motors.

Keith 100 miles an hour sounds cool as f##k 😂😂😂😂
You murdered it so bad it's dead😂.
You want to run it so hard it's murdered.😂
You should get a murderous motor.😂
Speedruns.
