Today, we take on Titanfall 2's Hardest Achievement. Titanfall 2 is famously known for ripping off Apex Legends, a Battle Royale game that came out 3 years after Titanfall did. This is similar to how the Beatles ripped off all my hard work over 50 years ago. It should be me who reaped the success of "Yellow Submarine" not John F'ing Lennon. I even have better glasses too. Honestly the entertainment industry is ruthless, thats why you should like and share the video so I get the success I truly deserve.
When you know G.Sager is actually a legendary titanfall 2 player and one of the fastest pilots out there...;D

I didn’t complete this trophy until after reaching GEN X in multiplayer, honestly feels like a milestone as a pilot
I never touched Multiplayer until i had done the gauntlet challenge but that was mosy because i assume the matching was dead by 2019

@@Rpgesusgoingin not really once you find your footing on the wall runs and timing your double jump, after that you just need to remember that hipfire is really accurate in Titanfall compared to most games
I completed it the first time I picked up the game after grinding it out for 2 hours.
I was grinding it before I even got on multiplayer and then when I was put in my first match I destroyed them.All that training and pain in the gauntlet paid off
As someone who grinded around 5 hours straight to get 26s, I get your pain.
This achievement is actually fun when you can reach high speeds lol
I remember getting this one. Pushed harder and got it down to 27 seconds and just gave up. I just didn't have it in me 🤣
There is a secret weapon at the start above which does help alot if you look up it on the side but petty hard to get but makes the run a bit easier.
Agree the EPG is a lot better than what I use to use which is a spitfire which would of been perfect if it had actually good hipfire.
What gun is it? The smart pistol?
@@thedoge9590 to be honest I don't remember it be a while when I played the game when it came out, but only took me 4 try to do it so that weapon does help alot.

I remember spending way too much time getting this achievement back in 2018, 1/5 of the achievements I got for the whole game 😆 I seem to have given up after this one

@@wagslawgnot trying to be an asshole but you need to learn how to read and comprehend stuff better. He literally said this was 1 of 5 achievements he got before quitting. Please read more often and take quiz on it to see if you can improve
Technically, you only have to score third place or higher to get the achievement.
But that doesn’t mean it’s any easier.
I was confused, because it's a 32s time, iirc. You don't even have to frag boost 😅

it was fun getting sub 25. it's hard but the technique isn't the hardest to master. minimizing your time not jumping, slide hopping, and well places arc grenades make it all possible. wall running and sliding for longer than a second actually slows you down quickly so maximizing your air time is a must to keep your average speed as high as possible.
The frag trick was actually something new and pretty cool
Took me a week, but I 100% Titanfall 2s achievements. This was definitely the hardest and took me the most time. Achieving the fastest time on that board was one of the most satisfying feelings.

I immediately went and spent a few hours getting this achievement after seeing this. Not sure why I didn’t get it till now since Titanfall 2 is one of my favorite games.

Master difficulty was way harder IMO but that was back when I was good at the multiplayer so that’s probably why
Thats understandable. I remember Master being as hard as veteran in most other games and I could play it in the same way. This achievement made me really have to understand the pilot mechanics a lot better
@@Snamwiches Trying to get this achievement has actually prepaired me quite well for the master difficulty. I guess the grind pays off in this game. Btw: The best way to get the speed above 50 is wall boosting. basically jumping off the wall at the exact frame and angle you landed will give you a ridiculous speed boost if done right. Along with bunny hopping to keep the momentum you'll be able to get some great results. And it will help in campaign speedruns too. Doom Eternal also has some of this tech, so maybe you can practice there.
Master difficulty killed me. I got become the master after reaching g9 in multiplayer. Beating Master difficulty took me 7 hours as opposed to the normal campaign time of like 4 ;-;
@@band1t-eats-batteries716 I tried no death master difficulty run. level 3 is an absolute minefield and I would hate it if not for the skips. It goes without saying: I didn't complete that run yet
I laughed at the end, it is just so relatable to grind for an achievement, not realizing you read it all wrong.
Laughed so much at the baby crying part. I respect the grind and knowing when to say hell no, ain’t no one got time for that.
Honestly, I feel like Master difficulty was way harder than top 3 gauntlet. Infact, after a month of trying to and beating the game on master, I got "Becomes the Master" on my 2nd gauntlet run.
Watching this cracked me up because the grenade launch is also the reason why Octane has prosthetic legs in Apex Legends.
This is the only game I've cared enough about to go for 100%. Spent a whole day watching UA-cam tutorials on movement and retrying the tutorial until I finally managed. It was awesome and I absolutely love this game, it's a shame the servers weren't working last time I checked.
Funny, I got this a couple months ago on Xbox and was wondering why you needed to get to #1. I figured that you might be playing PC and that they needed #1 on steam or something. So I watched fully thinking that you were going to break that 25 second mark, while also being grateful that I never had to shave that last 7 seconds off.
This was one of the first achievements I did right when the game came out because I knew it would be hard.
This was definitely the hardest achievement in the game. Completing the campaign on master was aggravating at times but didn't have nearly the frustration level of this.

For me it took me like 2 hours to get this achievement, the difference was that I discover the speed mechanics first before trying the perfect run.
So this made thins a lot easier for me

TF2 is one of my favorite games ever and the only achievement I didnt have back in 2020 was the "become the master achievement" for this gauntlet I watched a guide on youtube for a route and hammered away for like 4 hours trying to dupe that route. It was so painful congrats on your success

I got the 100% for Titanfall 2 about two years back. I had all other achievements bar this one, it took me around 4 months of doing the run 3 or 4 times a day after work. I was that terrible at it. But getting the cheevo finally was and is one of the greatest moments of my life (and I am a father of two)
If Steven He's "eMoTiOnAl dAmAgE" meme were ever appropriate, it were after the 4th "... with that spark of confidence, I attempted my first On-Stream run." 😂 🤣

You had me doubting my faithfulness to Titanfall saying there was an achievement for getting first. I knew it was third, but you made me think there was another one.
I watched a lot of different guides, but as soon as you mentioned the wall jumping for extra speed. It turned my game around and I finally got it! Thank you so much!!

Getting 50 kph is hard af but keeping that speed is nearly impossible
It took me 3 years to get this achievement, titanfall was one of my favourite games and the absolute satisfaction of getting this achievement (the last achievement i needed too) was amazing, 10/10 would practice 3 years again
This one was as fun as it was soul crushing. I wasn't even achievement hunting when I got it, I just really stubbornly wanted to be #1 on the board. A friend of mine who got me into the game was bragging about his 3rd place for some reason, and it got annoying enough that I wanted to one up him. I got 2nd after a few days (still in school so no infinite time to keep trying), but I just wasn't happy with that for some reason. Idk, I was kinda petty about weird things as a kid. It took me almost 3 weeks of nearly consistent effort before I finally got that sweet sweet 1st place. Ironically enough I had long since stopped caring about the bragging rights, and it was more about my stubborn refusal to quit at that point. I spent more time on that friggin achievement than I did on the actual game. 😤worth it.
On this annoying trophy, I was gonna gave up because it was extremely hard, but I went to PowerPyx and he somehow got that trophy and I did the same thing that he did. I swear I will never do this trophy again😂🤣😂🤣

It was actually one of my first achivements lmfao, i saw the scoreboard and my dark souls instinct kicked in to get to the top
That had to be instant relief after mistakenly realizing you got the achievement already.
I know I’m late but I spent an entire afternoon, nearly 5 hours straight grinding this achievement, slowly cutting down my time, and the relief I felt when I slid past the ghost at got the achievement was amazing.
Just started this game as many consider it a " hidden gem". People say this game is short but I didnt know they put this speedrunning section before the real start. I had to force myself to finally start the campaign after hours of trying this. Best I could do on Pc is 46 seconds, 25 seconds seem impossible without glitches, couldnt even get under 30 without killing the enemies...

This achievement took me so long to get, but it was absolutely worth it when it finally unlocked.
I ran Evo and EPG with frag grenades and got it after a few hours of min maxing the amount of pride I felt was indescribable

This is quite literally the hardest achievement in video games ever.An achievement that literally involves on perfecting the games movement basics to a T,using more brain power than you ever used in your entire life as well as draining your mental stability to the point of insanity.Imagine if the condition was place 1st instead of top 3 to get the achievement,if that was true i am sure only less than 1% (worst case scenario 0.10% - 0.25%) of player base would be able to bag it.That would be the true K.O punch from vince zampella to players.Thankfully he is not that ruthless to us in this reality.

I went from years of play with Titanfall 1 on Xbox one to starting Titanfall 2 for the first time back in may on PC, I got all the achievements in about 20 hour of gameplay, a good strategy if you want to do the same is to play about two or three level of campaign, then end the night by running the gauntlet for a while, not multiple hours all at once, made it a lot more fun for me, although there was definitely more difficulty in the gauntlet than anywhere else, if you piece it out over a few gaming sessions it does make it a fair bit more fun
I JUST got this. I've been trying since the game came out. I finally did it without any grenade boosts. I almost didn't believe it when "Achievement unlocked" popped up in the corner or whatever it says since once I realized I had done it I started yelling at the top of my lungs.

Titanfall 2 is honestly the only game i have ever cared to 100% the gauntlet achievement took me quite a long time but after some time i figured out a nice and smooth way to do it and it worked very well!

I bought the game from a steam sale for 4€ because i liked it on the xbox back in the day. Total play time on steam is about 12h and i got 100% of the atchievements in that time. The game is substantially easier on pc.
This was the last achievement I got in the game after day's of trying and hundreds of runs.
Most painful achievement worked for. 3 hours of gauntlet runs. Got to 3rd place after legit having the most perfect run have had. I found that Lastimosa's route was able to get to 3rd though if done without any delay and with minor adjustments here and there, which is what kept running.
One of my proudest gamer moment..100% achivement on this game

i remember i liked so much titanfall 2 that i completed all achievements EXCEPT the one where u gotta create the group online, that's literally the only one i needed to complete 100% 😭😭😭
You can do this still I got the trophy April 2023, you have to join a player created multiplayer net work. There’s literally 100s to choose from they are basically community’s/ clans you just request to join and once accepted you unlock the trophy
I didn't have issues with this one. The trophy that made me give up was beating it on the hardest difficulty. I could not beat Viper :(
Strange, i was the complete opposite. Did viper on the 2nd attempt but gave up on the gauntlet. Which titan were you using vs viper?

Broooo I’ve done this only twice once for Xbox and another for ps5 the first time was in 2017 and it was the last achievement to get it took me well over 100 tries but 14 year old me managed to get it now I’m 19 and am going for platinum on ps5 and I knew that achievement was a pain in the as but this time it took me less than 20 tries was still frustrating tho. Keep in mind I’ve been playing the game since it came out.

I legit got this achievement on PC in an hour! Mind you this is after getting all other achievements and 100 hours of multiplayer the first 2 weeks. I never realized it was a "hard" achievement. Titanfall 2 was the first game I got all achievements for!

I actually have this achievement after never playing the game and wanting to 100% the story aspect...
Yeah it wasn't pleasant.
But with perseverance, I beat that time.
While I agree it's (probably) the hardest acheivement in the game (I can't think of many of the others, but I know there were a good few harrrrd ones, especially the Master mode run) it isn't really THAT hard of an acheievemt if you've played the game a couple times, or just good at movement with an Eva8. Took me probably 2 hours to get it
Nah you don’t understand. G. Sager isn’t an NPC. He’s a real player that the Titanfall 2 devs put in as a tribute for getting the fastest gauntlet run back in 2016-2017
This achievement took me about 5 solid hours. Worst 24 hours of my life.
Loaded up Titanfall 2 on my Xbox cause I was confused when you said you had to get #1 on the leader board then I finished the video. Congrats on joining the club lol
7:35 this games runs off of a modified source engine...the source engine famously calculates the effect of grenades and flashbangs etc in counter strike by pointing a straight line from the point of explosion to the person it hits...if even the smallest bit of geometry, such as lets say, the wall beside a staircase seen in this clip, gets in the way, not matter how close one is to the grenade, it will not effect them.
The arc grenades are the most inconsistant pieces of trash dude. I put them in the same spot every time and half the time they leave 1 dude untouched and its literally on top of the middle guys head. So frustrating.
I got this achievement first and only time playing Titanfall. I like to 100% games noticed this achievement, spent hours trying to get it. Eventually got focused and it popped, but I hated the game, and myself. I made the assumption the rest of the game would be this difficult and said nope. Never played again.
Arc Grenades are line of sight weapons, hence if someone is behind a wall, even if the grenade is basically next to them they won’t take damage
