I once beat the game on Hardcore mode using "minimalist", no healing and no opening item box, all at the same time, however without any time limit. It took me a while, but it was ton of fun because I would carefully have to figure out which way to go, what items to pick up when and where (so I can have space for key items, or ammo, etc). If you want "ultimate challenge", go for that, it actually makes you rethink how you play RE2.
I remember getting this after about 5 hours trying it over and over. I started off following a guide which worked for 1-40, then 40-60, things got a little shaky and I had to go a little off guide just to stay alive. then 60-100 was just an absolute free for all. All hell broke loose, no control over anything, just do what you can. I wouldn't be able to replicate the success because I didn't follow a winning strategy, I think I just lucked out that AI decided to bunch up at the right moment and give me a breather when I needed one...
I remember when I unlocked this mode about a year ago while I was trying to get as many achievements as I could. It took me dozens of tries. When I finally beat No Way Out, I felt like I conquered a mountain.
I don't know it didn't felt so hard for me. When I first unlocked it I beat it on my first try. Getting under 60 pistol rounds was tricky but got it on like 4th-5th time. What was difficult for me was unlocking this mode, so beating those 3 scenarios without tutorial mode.

It took me 2 hours total to beat this mode. First hour was just me learning what enemies spawn when and where, and learning where to stand for the most efficiency. Second hour was me blasting running in the 90’s in my headset and just dying over and over until I got lucky with good headshots and not getting grabbed a million times, and finally I beat it. One of the best feelings of achievement I’ve gotten from any game.

Go for the infinite ammo accessory. You need to beat this mode without using more than 60 rounds of handgun ammo to unlock it. Very hard. I beat this mode in 2 tries normally but the limit of 60 rounds really ups the difficulty. I lost count of how many attempts it took. I had to grind for hours.

It is definitely a challenge compared to the other achievements. Good luck though and just make sure you don’t let too many zombies in at any given point

When I got all the achievements for re2, these dlcs were the bane of my existence. It took me a day to beat this one in particular. Nice job beating it!
I’m so glad I got the Cat Ears first try! Remake 2’s gameplay was so fun, but if we are honest for a minute the game was very “low skill” in the sense that it is “knowledge based” with inventory management and routing rather than “gameplay based”. And to add fuel to the fire. Remake 3 with its inferno difficulty No NG+ items is way more challenging duo to dodges.
I remember going for the extra "File", which only lets you fire your Handgun a certain number of times before voiding it. It took numerous attempts and following a short walkthrough step-by-step because each cache drop from the zombies was *just* enough to get you to the next one, but I ended up with a total time of around 8~ minutes.
It's a ridiculous achievement but also got kind of easy since I learned which weapons were best against who and knew to save backpacks for later and leave explosive packs in the corners of the room so none would be wasted. If you're quick and know where the paleheads spawn, they're an instant kill with the spark shot. One shotgun blast can end an armored one. The smg does big long ranged damage against the poison ones, or you can just use an explosive pack if it's the one round where tons of poison zombies spawn. That one big round ~70 zombies in is the only time you'll absolutely need to use your anti-tank, so you basically have an extra get out of jail free card just in case. If you have decent aim, learn the strategies, and practice, I'd actually argue that it's easier than some of the other ghost survivors.
Optinoob's a life saver when it comes to high difficulty playthroughs. But even with guides, this particular one was a nightmare. Even the most throught guide will only carry you to like 20-ish enemies. From there, it's just strategy and skill.

The real challenge comes in when you wanna unlock the infinite ammo hat on this level which is pretty damn hard.

Just got this 2 days ago and completed all RE 2 achievements. Thank you Snamwiches for inspiring me to go back and tackle it. The main thing that helped me is knowing you can hold down the trigger for the pistol and just landing body shots. I realized I wasted too much time trying to land headshots. Just use it like a machine gun. Squeeze trigger. Reload. Don’t stop until they dead. Really helped me. Got it on my 3rd attempt.
I remember playing the originals and making things up to do as little challenges thinking I was a god at the game. Then when I saw this challenge I thought “can’t be that hard, hardly a challenge” then getting straight wasted on every one of my attempts. Kudos to you man
Watching this video inspired me to finally go back and complete these achievement on my own. I put the game down 4 years ago because I never thought I would do it. Well I did it after a few hours of trying. Thanks man!
I've never been great at this game, but I managed to get this achievement without too much hassle. Probably took me just under 10 attempts in total, but the most important thing I learned was to make sure that the store never got overwhelmed with zombies, so I'd try and focus on killing as many as possible in the doorways at the start of each wave. Pretty fun challenge overall, especially for a free update.
Yup, No Way Out is definitely the hardest one for me as well. And the reason I'm willing to do it because I want to get that cat ear with infinite ammo perk.
I recall having so much trouble with this one, always making it to the last set just to beef it, your dead space vid reeled me in, hope to see even more difficult ones in Tha future!
This mode was hell for me to get all achievements on Steam but I did it! Now focusing on RE7 and I just got through all the DLC and this was nothing compared to that now I can finally finish my madhouse playthrough lol. Good job man, love the videos!
Try as I might, I could not do this. I did all the other Ghost Survivors episodes, but I’d always get overwhelmed and succumb to this one. Good job on this
I don't know how I managed to first try this by the skin of my teeth. Definitely was pretty stressful near the end of it. You could probably make a fun vid of Mein Leben from Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. Did it a couple years ago and still have the strats I figured out for it burned into my mind. The worst part of it is having to rewatch the ten minutes of unskippable cutscenes at the beginning of the game. It's doable once you figure parts out but it can be quite a pain in the ass.
@@Snamwiches I wish you the best of luck for it. If you want some help with it sometime I could give you some good tips about various areas. It's pretty daunting but I'd say it's easier than DS2's Hardcore difficulty. A good run of it can be done in about five hours. Some of the parts can be tricky and there's some bullshit to keep in mind. Explosion knockdown is a huge pain and can get you killed. And in a few areas enemies can shoot through some objects that lack collision.
I tried so many times to get this achievement and gave up long ago. Came across this video as I installed the re2 ps5 update. Watched this video and I swear I beat it in my first try. I don’t know what it was but I just went all guns blazing Returnal style. Other videos focus on “use this weapon X times, shoot this enemy with this blah blah blah”. Whatever it was I can’t explain it but this worked. Finally have 100% on RE2. Thank you!!
Man i remember taking like a day or two working on this, then again i also did the side challenge of completing it with only using 60 handgun bullets to unlock the infinite ammo cat ears

This was the last trophy I got on RE2 and put it off for a while as I thought it was too hard but after sitting down for the day and trying to get it done I really had a fun time and I’m glad I finally 100% the game
Yes, this was tough. Especially the one where you have to finish it using less than 60 handgun bullets. The trick is to manage your sub weapons and shield heals. If you make a G+R+B mix and hold off using it as long as possible it gives you a good start. Also you have to use the gas tanks strategically, drop them where you want them then save them for when there are lots of enemies in the area. If you beat it using less than 60 bullets I think it gives you the infinite ammo cat ears accessories. Here's my guide:- ua-cam.com/video/nWcdBqrDE5M/v-deo.html
Bro keep doing what you are doing this and within a few months I bet you will have a few million subs. Your content is amazing and you can tell you got love for the content. Give it a little time and your channel will blow yp
I knew instantly during the questionnaire that the No Way Out achievement is the rarest. And I know this, because it's the only trophy I'm missing on my PSN account.
I think the issue of it being 1.5% achievement, is simply that most people probably play it a few times, realize It's super hard, and then just "don't care enough" so they don't come back to beat it. I LOVE RE2 remake and haven't even played the side missions cuz I just do main stories over and over. BUT DANG, I'm going to play this now. LOOKS AWESOME!
The real challenge is getting the adorable cat ears item. To do that you are limited to firing your handgun a total of only 60 times. If you don't get enough early critical hits, which is pure luck, then your run is effectively over. Of course that means that you also technically don't have infinite ammo and will soon need to rely on the bags that zombie drop after you fire 60 shots. And then of course you need to survive killing 100 zombies which already alone is one of the hardest challenges in this game.
If Hunk was an unlockable character in the RE2 remake, he'd annihilate these zombies with guns, grenades, knives, and guts. Completing a difficult as nigh mode with a raccoon on your head without getting rabies or zombified is quite enjoyable. Cue the badass store manager jokes. That guy must've been the Resident Evil franchise's "Crew Cut".
I did this about 4 days ago, and during my run I went for cat ears at the same time (use less than 60 handgun shots). To give prespective, the year prior I completed Leon route A on Standard, and did half a run of Claire standard before I took a year long Hiatus. I came back wanting to get the extra content done, and completed the 4 prior levels after following the guides. I made it to the Cod Zombie spin-off that night, tried 3 times and died. Next morning, I tried 3 more time and won. A total of 6 attempts going for the extra difficult cat ears challenge, again I mention I beat this game once on standard, it’s not that bad practice makes perfect.
This is one of the few achievements you've got that I've got... and I'm proud to say I actually did this one first try. No guide, just tried it out, and somehow made it through. I found the kendo mission far harder for some reason.
I wonder if he can unlock the cat ears, that was the real challenge

The cat ears were torture to get but was worth it cause infinite ammo + cute.

Just use it like a machine gun. Squeeze trigger. Reload. Don’t stop until they dead. Really helped me. Got it on my 3rd attempt.
I absolutely love your editing style. Its so easy to watch and keeps me addicted. Great job!!
Same
Bruh you started 2 MONTHS ago and you're already this good. Man, I love your content! Keep it up!
Thanks man!
Yo I love the genre that you've been uploading, really refreshing to see. Would love to see more horror genre content, but definetely earned my sub!
10:05 hey its the laughing skeleton sound effect from EverQuest
Awesome video, dude, glad to see you getting some recognition you deserve.
12:12 i think this Pale Head was hitting the Booze isle before getting the munchies.
Glad I found you in my recommended when trying to get Hard to The Core in Dead Space 2!!
0:15 - Why do just one of them when you could do all of them at the same time, like a crazy person?
The production value of this was amazing! Obsessed and can't wait for more!
This is literally the first video I have watched of your channel and I immediately subscribed. Your content is amazing
I recall having so much trouble with this one, always making it to the last set just to beef it, your dead space vid reeled me in, hope to see even more difficult ones in Tha future!
The algorithm has blessed this channel, good luck on your future!
Damn you are blowing up like expected!!! :) Can’t wait to see you more in the future! Keep it up my G
Thanks Dion! Can't wait to share the rest of the vids I'm working on!
I just watched one of your videos a week ago and you had 15k subscribers.. now you have 22k! Congrats, and well deserved.
This was also my last one to get for RE2 Remake, took me 6 hours of constant retries but it isn't bad when you learn how to control the zombie aggro.
This mode was hell for me to get all achievements on Steam but I did it! Now focusing on RE7 and I just got through all the DLC and this was nothing compared to that now I can finally finish my madhouse playthrough lol. Good job man, love the videos!
Pre-ordered this game and was quite happy when I got this achievement about 2 weeks into playing. Definitely no easy task, good job.
I'm planning to go for it eventually when my mental becomes unbreakable lol
"it's not my fault if you walked into my warning shots" i never thought id hear that again in my life. heard a guy in court say that lmao
How do you not have 500,000+ subs? Your content was suggested to me & i can’t stop watching. Thank you for your entertainment.
This just appeared on my recommended and I was so glad after watching. Very shocked to see this was only your 5th upload! Genuinely thought you were an established UA-camr who had tons uploads under their belt just because of how well edited it was and how much fun it was to watch. Can't wait to see where the channel goes!
RE2 is one of the few games where I ended up just downloading the trainer to experience the harder modes because I do not have the suffering stamina you do. This is one impressive run!
leon is the type of guy to be able to lift up a planet but struggle to open a water bottle
I absolutely LOVE going for achievements… so glad your video got recommended to me. Plus you mentioned True Achievements so that’s an automatic ‘subscribe’ lol. But seriously, really loving your videos!
Impressive but can you do it in VR?
I will do 1 push-up for every like
🤓
No you won’t
thats cap, junior
🤓
22 aint too bad cuz
Snam deserves so many more subscribers he is so funny and entertaining
I knew instantly during the questionnaire that the No Way Out achievement is the rarest. And I know this, because it's the only trophy I'm missing on my PSN account.
I think the issue of it being 1.5% achievement, is simply that most people probably play it a few times, realize It's super hard, and then just "don't care enough" so they don't come back to beat it. I LOVE RE2 remake and haven't even played the side missions cuz I just do main stories over and over. BUT DANG, I'm going to play this now. LOOKS AWESOME!
That ‘ahead of me’ should NOT have made me actually laugh, but Jesus man, beautiful 😭😂
Glad I discovered your channel from this vid, Glad to get more snamz tips
I've never seen a man grind so much and be joyful the whole time
the joke at 4:03 was so funny, worth a subscription lol
8:08 downright distrspectful resident evil loading screens
Lol You're funny. I subscribed. Looking forward to you putting out more videos. I have a feeling your gonna be my new favorite video game streamer
I just clicked this video and realized I already saw it. But it's a really good video so I'm watching it again. Great content bro
Amazing video! You'll hit 100k subs by the end of the year ;)
Solid channel man. Glad I found it!!
I didn't have to guess. I KNEW. Hellnof a Sherrif. Thankfully, Optinoob is THE MAN and his guides got me through it.
I want to see this guy beat all the challenges in the Resident Evil 4 Remake and Seperate ways because the challenges in that game are wild
Just discovered you - your editing is on point and content is great!
GGs dude! Also fabulous fashion choice, the raccoon hat is so hot right now🤠
The real challenge is getting the adorable cat ears item.
IF thats a nightmare then trying to unlock the Cat Ears is a HELL SPAWN! lol
Glad you gave a shout to Optinoob. His walkthroughs are the best.
Brilliant channel and videos keep grinding and the subs will come
Funny video. First time watching your stuff. Love ALL Resident Evil content.
subbing literally bc of that derpy joke about 4min in
The optinoob mention at the start is accurate 😂 mans carried me to my re2 100%, seriously
Dude I came across these videos by a happy accident. The commentary is hilarious and entertaining. Looking forward to more. GG's and keep it up
0:25 I thought the twist was it was all those for one achievement. LOL
Whooo, lighting off a rocket launcher in a severly enclosed space. Just like it suggests on the box.
this map is like tim heidecker in billion dollar movie.... "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY STORE!!!!"
Coryxkenshin who finished the mission on the first try: Mortals you have no idea the power I posses!
Im not sure if its what you are aiming for, but I have never wanted someone to become a full time CC more than you. Your videos are ridiculously good
This is one of the few achievements you've got that I've got... and I'm proud to say I actually did this one first try. No guide, just tried it out, and somehow made it through. I found the kendo mission far harder for some reason.
Took me a month to get this achievement😂 but i also got gunslinger
