Hi Steve! Thanks for the comment. I don't know if you'll like Foma 400 with Rodinal, as with the 400 version Rodinal will boost the grain quite a lot. Personally I do not appreciate it that much as it becomes more like a "potato field" rather than an image. Fomapan 100 is fine, 200 is "ok'ish", 400 is a bit too much for my taste. What I'd really like to see from Foma, is the Ortho in 4x5. That would make my day :)
I also use fomapan, together with kentmere... have not thought about buying directly, that sounds like a great idea. I mostly use asa 100, but sometimes 200 films nowadays. And I only shoot with 135, as prices gone rather badly, and I think 120 is not economical anymore :( I still have my Rolleicord Vb lying around, so maybe I need to reconsider if I can buy bulk...
@@slavakhudyakov3807 don't let that VB stay stopped for long. I use Rolleiflexes on street photography and I get a lot of great shots with them. The VB here will Excell as she is a very quiet camera, and the old shooting trigger is very concealed. Rolleicord and Rolleiflexes are excellent in the street for 2 reasons, first you shoot from the hip/belly, and as you are not taking the camera to your eye, the persons around you get photographed in a much more natural pose. And second, those extremely few who notice you shooting them, like it so much that they don't mind you photographing them and don't confront you.
I always use a squeegee but I wash it first so that the rubber is not that hard on the film. On my case (135, 120 and 4x5) it gets the job done and suits me well. I also pre-wash and after-wash the film :) No scratches what-so-ever :)
Great video! I just purchased two rolls of Fomapan 400. I'm thinking of developing one in Rodinal and one in HC110 B or D-96.

Never, ever use a squeegee, use a rinsed out chamois leather in its stead.
