I think welding was an added precaution on the diff because i believe lead is soft. It will hold.😊

aahh man i thought the welded diff life was for the M104 car, but it will be interesting to see how it stands up.

Why didnt you just weld the spider gears like everyone else does?!
Same reason I have the only M104 in a W203 chassis. (According to my knowledge)

Can you put a c230 diff on c32 amg is it the same?
I have no idea mate. My guess would be they are different in some way🤷🏻♂️ AMG usually would have stronger drivetrain parts I think
@@RicerBenz my diff broke down i am about to order a used diff from someone but its a bolt on diff i mean it got bolts that need to be screwed on and thats it but mine have a different one in mine the axhe shaft actually goes inside the diff itself so you think it will be able to fit on mine?
If your diff fail try to find a bmw lsd
is there a bmw lsd that goes into the w203 carrier? someone told me a mercedes model with lsd the subframe swaps straight into the w203, can't remember which one though. was told this after getting a an expensive quaife torsen :(
@@e.v.a.l.s believe its one of the amg or e class models, but that swap would probably end up running you the same amount as a quaife lol

@@samurboi8007 the subframe with all suspension arms, carrier, etc, would not be expensive from a local pick and pull (around here anyway). rebuilding everything? will nickle and dime fast. also, depending on use, the torsen is not so ideal if you plan on launching hard/driving in a way a wheel will come off the ground
and yes, it's an e class.
@@e.v.a.l.s hmmm thats pretty interesting thanks for the share. I wish i could actually try that but i doubt i have any e classes in junkyards locally worth digging up in in my country. Do you know exactly which e classes the swap would work for by chance?
