The Reason Merchants would only pay 7 to 8 Gold for your Glass Dagger is because it has 2/300 Durability. so almost Broken. Durability has a Heavy Effect on the Price of a Item. so it you Repaired it, then Sold it. it would fetch much more gold. if you sell it, it also make sense, because Who would want to pay over 1000 Gold for a Broken Weapon. lol
I wouldn't change curio's dialogue, I think house hlaalu is just meant to be that distasteful and nasty. it might be a bit uncomfortable but so are so many other things you've done for the house. having curio be charming or tasteful would just miss the point. the protagonist (or their sponsor in this case) isn't always the hero
Taking clothes off is a way of getting a character to talk that wont talk. Sometimes you cant even taunt or persuade and are stuck and can only murder or leave. The game is teaching you a trick.
37:50 I think guild guides were a new thing in morrowind. I may be mis-remembering, but I'm pretty sure that the 'mark' and 'recall' spells were given to all characters for free from the beginning of the game (or very easy to obtain early on). It's kinda funny how much some players eschew fast travel so much when Daggerfall basically *required* you to use it if you wanted to complete it within a human lifespan. Oblivion was similar tbh, and my headcanon was just that the fast-travel in that game was that in the years after morrowind the Neraverine taught everyone a perfected version of the 'Icarian Flight' spell, so fast travel in oblivion is just people jumping everywhere super quick! Haha. I think morrowind did it best though, between the guild guides and silt striders, and boats; there's enough places to fasttravel between that getting sent half-way to hammer-fell isn't so tedious, but you end up with little hubs to explore around, and you have to save up for bus money in the early game. I feel like the guild guides are a bit OP though. I wish that there was a joining fee for the guilds so that you couldn't so easily take advantage of the lower prices compared to siltstriders.
You don't start with Mark and recall in morrowind but it is fairly easy to get. I'm pretty sure a guild member sells the spells in the vivec mages guild. So you can get it early bu making money in seyd then joining mages guild in Balmoral teleporting to vivec through guild services. I think one of the rooms to the left after teleporting has the spell seller with mark and recall
Did you not realize disposition affects sale prices? Lol also, in this case it was the weapons condition. I think the glass dagger was at 2/300 condition
Also, Lyle, it's just me or the background music (god bless Jeremy Soule) sounds like a broken record a bit? It staggers every once in a while. Maybe soundtrack files got corrupted or just something with their playback. Example 44:4748:10 in particular

the real reason house hlaalu fell was the toxic workplace culture

I always use it to taunt the lady in pelagiad to get her belt. The only way i can get her in dialog mode
@@dem5393 Yes, it’s needed for the Sanguine Morag Tong Questline.

6:15 a small trivia: the word Elmas means diamond in Turkish but I dunno if they used it with this intention :P
These are the only reason I ever look forward to Mondays
Same
you weren't supposed to give the letter to tenisi, crassius said he wanted you to report to him if odral helvi told you to do anything suspicious
Ah yea, Rattius Bunchus, a bunch of rats.
If you want more mney from that quest - speak to Crassius after finding the thief, he'll pay you to lie about it XD
I know it's a LONG way off but your next Morrowind playthrough should be a Telvanni wizard using Rise of House Telvanni and Uvirith's Legacy.
I love this morrowind content, I'm a big fan of elder scrolls and this was before my time and I'm glad I get to experience it with you!
This game had such a huge impact on me when it came out. I still love this game. In my opinion it has the best story lines and atmosphere.
Check the glass dagger for damage. It might ned repair. There are a couple daggers like that in vivec and one in Suran like that

the mages guild did offer teleportation in daggerfall, but only to very high-ranking members

Don't forget that you can sell stuff to the Scamp in Caldera at great prices.
Kind of sucks we missed the opportunity to tell Uncle Crassius of the dealings of Odral.
Just love it
Hey Lyle Shnub, don't forget to increase the font size
Hope you're feeling better Lyle.
*Finds out later in the video* good, glad to hear it.
42:00 We might see some goblin-hunting in Dragontail Mountains wil TES6, as it's in Hammerfell
a mark and recall equivalent spell exists in daggerfall (also if/when u eventually play it please for the love of god use daggerfall unity)
