Look no further. Don’t spend any money or look into any fancy or technical methods on solving your Tangling flag problem around your pole.
My solution can’t be any simpler.

That's not a fix. Just makes the flag look torn.
Where I live we have high winds, so I modified it with a bowling ball. Works great, but the pole keeps breaking. 😮💨

Great idea! And doesn’t have to be a lock for those of you who don’t like that. You can devise a more inconspicuous weight if you get creative. Someone said give it more slack but I can tell you that if you have an east-facing home on the Florida Atlantic coast those onshore winds still furl your flag without a weight

Great idea what size lock
Was the lock supposed to latch back on the swivel to simply act as a weight, to keep it from swiveling? Did you just forget to latch it on the swivel or was that the finished intention?
