Awesome!! FYI the fascia is way more secure. My flag is always up! I did replace the plastic holder with a metal holder just because it's more durable and my area gets very windy. Thanks for watching and for commenting!

How do you fly the flag at half-mast with that type of setup. Memorial Day they should be flown at half-staff until noon then full staff the rest of the day. With that type of set-up looks like you can't with that pole. I believe in flying the flag properly as the flag code states. I am having a hard time finding a staff that allows me to do it. It is sad you try and respect the flag. and fly it the proper way with the right stuff so any help I would be grateful.

Every time I think I want to install one of these, I remember that I live in Oklahoma and that it probably wouldn't last through the Spring season (seemingly random hellacious winds). 😱😢
I used to live in Tulsa and yes the wind is insane sometimes. I had to replace the plastic holder with a metal holder. I have a video on that as well. Thanks for watching!

Once you allow the American flag to touch the ground you need to burn it and bury it. That’s what I was taught as very young kid.

You are obviously not a military veteran. You probably didn’t know before but I’ll tell you now. That great flag should never be allowed to touch the ground, like it was in this video when you were mounting the flag to the pole. You can use a table, or have someone hold it up off the ground while you mount it.

In gangs, if you drop a flag or let it touch the floor. You get jumped for 30 seconds from the entire crew. Maybe they should start doing the same for the countries flag lol

I bought mine from Home Depot the flag pole keeps shaking and I’m the mounting bracket broke so then I bought another one that’s more expensive so it is better quality and instead I put in 4 screws instead of 3 but it’s still shaking really badly even when it’s not so windy idk what to do anymore
I had the exact same issue here is a video i did last month were I replaced the plastic with a metal holder.

For my future house I might do a Gadsden flag, mexico flag and a usa flag for my house. I have another flag which is back the blue flag but that one might get ripped off so I'll do the other ones.
My house will be interesting to look at when I get one in the future
What size drill bit did you use?
Just pick a drill bit that's smaller than the screws. Mine was smaller than 1/8th. You want the screws to be super tight especially if your area gets windy.
What is the security issue of this flagpole? Sound awkward though I want to understand. For example If any stranger trying to pullup will he be able to steal the stick?
They could take it yes. That's why I installed my up higher so they would need a ladder. I have seen on my Ring Doorbell Alerts that some kids were taking peoples flag poles off of houses but the flags were installed pretty low. Also I recommend installing a metal holder instead. My plastic holder broke after 3 months. I havre a video on my channel that covers that very subject. Thanks for watching!

True! I got it at Home Depot. After a few weeks the wrinkles are all gone. I want to get a better quality flag for next 4th of July! I replaced the plastic mount with a steel mount and 1 and a quarter inch screws. Be get tons of wind and I have to take it down when the wind is strong.

This video gave me anxiety with how many times he let the flag touch the ground or even set it on the ground. If you are going to display a flag or make a video on how to install one, you should probably start by reading the flag code first.
That also doesn't seem like an ideal place to mount the flag since you can't easily get it down, like during inclement weather. And you also did not say anything about having a light shine on the flag if you aren't going to bring it in at night.
It's ok, no ones perfect and when I was filming I tried to show the install and film at the same time. At least I hang a flag on my house, no one in my neighborhood hangs a flag. I have a security camera with a flood light that shines on the stars and stripes all night long! My only issue is the wind. Las Vegas doesn't get much rain. Thank you for watching!
