herecliche zur if I had one of those machines at my work It would be all I ever ate for lunch, especially at $4 a bowl. If I go out to eat for lunch finding somewhere under $10 is usually rare.
Sadly, in my neighborhood they wouldn't last a day.

Last year when I moved to Japan for university I lived 1 month of my life eating vending machine meals, then I went to a clinic to check my urine, blood, etc. and there was no problems with my health or my organs. Everything was fresh and delicious.

I don’t speak any Japanese. I think, When I was there, I would play Vending-Machine-Lotto. Put money into a random machine and press any Button. And hope for the best.
I recommend learning the hiragana and katakana alphabets before going to Japan. They look hard but really aren't, I recommend the tofugu guide to learning both. With this guide I learned them in two days. Katakana is mostly used for words of non-Japanese origin (like pretty much english words) so if you can read katakana you can pretty much guess what something is in English. Most foods are written in katakana.
Using the vending machines is really not hard, since you usually have an image of something rather than text to choose.

@@terrylap6132 I'm not entirely sure but women treatment there is very regressed. Like when it comes to assault it's always blamed on the woman. There is also discrimination in some shops where they don't allow non-Japanese people to enter, etc.

Kuhaku japan is way more than just anime. It’s a beautiful place, amazing food, and nice people, well some nice people.
I just came back from Japan and I don't think I wanna live there. Encountered a suicide at the train station which was traumatizing, second encountered a racist waitress and it happened my 3rd day there. Living there is also expensive. I might come back just for sight seeing but I can never imagine living my whole life there.

This is such a great idea for a buisness. You dont have to pay employees, just maintenance for the machines. But apart from all the obvious advantages you can also think about this: people who want to eat a lot but are too shy to order that much food just for themselves infront of a cashier will have no problem doing so in this case.
