You should take the family for a trip to Japan when the world starts making sense again. The food is so good! I didn't even know what takoyaki was so I took a picture with my phone and showed the cashier, and it was wonderful! You should do a video making okonomiyaki both Osaka style and Hiroshima style and decide which one is better. Oh, and takoyaki, if you can get hold of a takoyaki grill.
"the sweetness of adults" (大人の甘さ) is a thing in japan that they put on candy/food/drinks that are bittersweet, or lightly sweetened because it's for an adult's taste, as opposed to a child, who would generally prefer something sweeter. they also have "adult flavor" (大人の味), which is usually on something unsweetened and bitter, that a child wouldn't like.
that's a bit like how we have salmiakki liquorice in Scandinavia that's labeled as "for adults only" because we generally prefer things to be a bit more sour and salty, which is something most people (kids included) don't appreciate if they didn't grow up with it. And these days companies shove sugar in everything to make it more "kid friendly", so they get used to everything being oversweetened
I have had the baked ones and when you cook them for about 8 minutes , they taste delicious. .... you can even get summer ones that you put n the freezer.

the "sakura" part of "sakura japanese sake" is cherry blossom - the flower pictured on the package, and probably the source of the beauty product flavor you tasted lol
I've tried a bunch of these! Love the wonderful world of Japanese KitKats! We had them as table favours at our wedding 😊 I've got the sakura mochi ones in my kitchen right now 😂 I'd recommend trying the yuzu matcha, strawberry cheesecake and momiji manju flavours. Probably already commented but Sakura mochi use the flavours of the petals themselves, not cherries. It's like how you get Rose and Violet-flavoured sweets.
I came here as fast as I could: "The sweetness of adults" actually means "sweetness level for adults" (i.e. less sweet than usual). The custard pudding Kit Kat is supposed to be baked, the guides are on the website or the packet. The "sake" Kit Kat is actually "sakura sake", which is a spring cherry blossom and sake flavour. The Halloween one is apple pie, most apples in Japan are harvested in autumn. The "sakura mochi" one is cherry blossom, not actual cherries. It was wonderful watching you all try traditional Japanese flavours, you actually tried some pretty unique ones, there is a wasabi one out there however, even I wont touch that one.
I have tried the wasabi and the soy sauce ones, not bad at all if you like sweet and salty combos! I have also had every one in this video. I currently have the lychee sea salt and premium dark mint in my cupboard. The wasabi was not spicy at all, you just taste the wasabi on your tongue. No throat or nose tingles or blasts!😂😁

Also Sakura is cherry BLOSSOM. So you are correct. The sake one is Sakura sake :P both are flower flavoured, because cherry blossom / Sakura is a super popular, cute flavour loads of girls love.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe that when american was first colonized, most of the people came from England. So really, it doesn't matter. Let people just enjoy their food. Isn't it great that traditions travel. After all, American is made up of almost every nationality there is. But Americans really love apple pie, my thought is it's the best one. 😋
English-speaking people trying to pronounce Japanese is the funniest thing ever. "moki" instead of "mochi", "saki" instead of "sake". Just the best, please keep doing it!
